Scroll mould isn’t happening for a year so here’s the original A mould. These are all 39mm.

I messed around with the idea of 44mm but I didn’t like the limited availability of edge spots for 44mm.

Ditched the neon colours completely and have gone with traditional colours.

Aside from DG orange, DG arc yellow is probably the "least bright" of the DG colors. I'll be honest I like that combo much better than the yellow spots here. Especially sitting next to a canary chip, I think those yellow spots will look a little dingy.

My 2 unsolicited pence worth......

Yeah the yellow spots were my least favourite thing about the set. I ended up going back to Dayglo pink and green on the £1 and £100 respectively.

I'm just gonna put this out there but you've ended up with something that's pretty close to a Rounders tribute. Even with the same black/green for the "high society" hundo and the red denomination. I understand though if you're trying to keep the cost down by sticking to low level spots...

I'm also @MrCatPants proclaimed President of the "spot progression is bullshit club" and would want the chips that are most commonly in play to be the most interesting. What's the point of having a fancy hundo if it's never seen.

Anyway, this is just my opinion and is worth exactly how much you paid for it :p

So I can count on your vote for best custom set 2023? :ROFLMAO:

I don’t like / care for the rounders chips so it’s funny you can see similarities. I’m not a fan of too many edge spot colours. To me they look cheesy and as if they’re trying too hard.

I’m trying to keep the design simple and old school (a bit like me).

Basically anything with just x14 spots is going to look like the Rounders chips, but I think that’s OK because they’re simple, old school, and classy.

I like both sets with progression and those that bling out the work chips. I have more or less one of each for my cash sets.

I’ve got a tournament Cards Mold set on order that is a car wreck of complicated “spot” patterns, because why not.

Pulled the trigger on these on the CSQ mould. Will update this thread whenever they get here.

Thanks everyone for your input. It’s much appreciated.

Ordered

105 x 25p
105 x £1
205 x £5
105 x £20
105 x £100
What stakes do you play? Seems like too many £100 chips and not enough £1 and £5 at first glance.

Mulling over adding a £500 chip to this. Which one fits in the best?

Top row is the current lineup. Bottom row is the list of contenders.

I’m tempted to go with the 5th one here (pink with white edge spots). I think the rest are too close to the £1 chip.

Still think that the pink with white spots (changed to bright white) is the best version although the light blue with pink edge spots is nice as well.
