Boston’s new city connects look like Celtics colors.
They also got new Vatican City Connects yesterday.

I saw Tony in a doubleheader in Philly and told my wife, just watch him. That day, he went 6 for 8. I think he had 2 doubles and 4 singles.

I think Tony Gwynn was the best “pure hitter” of my generation.
I bought my 1st car and drove it south 500mi to see the final game of the season in 1989. Clark & Gwynn were virtually tied for the Batting Title and let's just say Gwynn proved this to be true.

Clark did make history a few weeks later though forever changing how players talk to each other on the field. I'm sure old Cubs fans remember him hitting a Grand Slam off Greg Maddux in the NLCS: FASTBALL IN!!!

Yessir. Big moment in baseball for sure.

I don't think the "my generation" qualifier is necessary. If he had played in the Ty Cobb era, he would have had multiple .400 seasons.

Other than the fact that he wouldn't have been allowed in the major leagues...

<-- 2 game sweep in the Super Regional vs the team we love to hate.......

Get on outa here Tener.  We're on our way to Omaha baby. :tup:Whoo Pig!!!
