So this started with "I'll just keep a couple nice setups for poker night."

Fast forward to now and I apparently own enough playing cards to open a mildly disappointing casino.

I have:

- sealed decks
- setup pairs
- random backups "just in case civilization collapses and we still need poker"

Most of my setups are like new or sealed, stacked in a cabinet inside my entertainment center. I am looking for ideas from people who have figured out how to organize/display collections without their spouse asking, "Why do you own 50 decks of cards?"

What are you all using? Acrylic cases? Toolboxes? Shelving?

Would love to see photos of your setups and hear what has worked best!

Laughing at the "mildly disappointing casino", not the question. Perfectly relevant.

Most of mine stay in bins in the closet (climate controlled, not the attic) but I have a few pretty ones sitting on a shelf.

I always played with using some sort of shadow frame, just clear glass, to hold some individual cards from fouled decks to show them off. Some day, would be a cool showcase! But for now, my disappointing casino lives binned away.

The shadow frame is actually a really solid idea. I might try that with some of my fouled decks. I like the idea of actually displaying some of them instead of storing in bins. Appreciate the suggestion!

I also have acquired more cards than I can use. I store mine in a small apache case that was on sale at Harbor Freight.

Watch cases and ammo cans.
