In addition to poker chips, I've become quite fond of collecting playing cards. I have a little bit of everything, from your typical Bicycle decks you can get at the supermarket to Copag, KEM, and Modiano boxed set ups. As it stands now though, they're all just stacked on top of each other on a metal storage rack in my basement. However, I'm concerned that humidity may get to them over time and warp the cards. The two deck set ups are protected decently from warping and humidity in their plastic shell cases, but other loose decks in cardboard boxes may not be so lucky. How does everyone else store their cards here? In a drawer? Laid out in the open?

Let's see your storage set ups and I'm open to suggestions for my own!

I live in the Philippines where the humidity kills decks. Even plastic cards.

I have taken to buying a sealable plastic chest and placing dessicant inside to preserve the cards.

Also, many setups that come with a plastic case often don't have boxes for the individual decks. Modiano, Kem, Copag, they're all like that. I'd suggest using old bicycle boxes to store your acetate cards to prevent warping.

Cheers
