So this just happened. Anyone else out there experience this? Card split right on half.

Not the first time I've seen this sadly.

I recorded two previous incidents of layer spliting. Both times Faded Spade customers service replaced defective card.

Unfortunately, it's not unheard of.

Hopefully they replace them for you.

This is the link I was about to search for....

As an honest question to the group and those who might know. Is this a result of some fraction of the F.S. cards being RFID cards for TV and such?? I imagine trying to incorporate the RFID "chip" into the card could be part of the multi-layer nature of the construction of the cards. If they use the same procedure, but without the chips... maybe???? I can't recall any card I've used that was so clearly made of two distinct layers. Between the hand shuffling (that we use as a group versus machine shuffling the RFID cards probably see) might want to de-laminate these more frequently than cards that don't have this.

Mostly thinking out of my not entirely sober ass at this point, but something that has been in the back of my mind since this started to appear....
