Nice way to incorporate the edge stamp into the total design. I like it! The only reason I didnt go with this style of chip is that I didnt want "roulette" on all my poker chips. You found a way to make it work. Smart feller!
thank you, I give the photo to help the community find ideas. Gogogo Roulette poker chips! ;)

Not sure how but Jim shipped my order . @TheChipRoom amazing customer service! Thanks again. Now the search for More bronze begins!
I have a shipping notice also. If you look at the details, it probably says "shipping label created". That means its boxed, and shipping calculated and paid for and its ready to go. POs are closed today so It wont actually move until tomorrow

I don’t know the difference between the Bud Jones chips offered here and the Paulsons, could someone please enlighten a newbie?

The Paulsons in this sale are made from compressed clay and will have the word "Roulette" stamped in a ring around each chip. The have stamped into each chip as well the center piece. Most folks prefer clay however your opinion may differ. Additionally, having the world "Roulette" stamped into each chip may be limiting for what you want to do with each chip. In an ideal world you'd have someone like @Josh Kifer 'mill' out the center so it was flat and replace it with your own label.

The Bud Jones chips are compressed plastic with a weighted center to give them more 'heft'. They will have white 'pips' around the body as you can see in the picture as 'edge spots'. Additionally they will have a line from each pip towards the center in the plastic. You can also see this in the picture. The label in the center can be pretty easily removed and replaced at home.

The 'clay vs plastic' debate is in many places in this forum, I won't repeat it here. You will see these bud jones plastics in a lot of casinos in the states for roulette and for a lot of folks these are the only 'plastics' they like.

For my money, if I wanted a intro set of high end chips that I was willing to put some elbow grease into and relabel, I'd get the bud jones in a heartbeat.

Bud Jones Roulettes are not weighted. They are pretty light, but stack very well.

Thanks very much, I do like these Jack Bud Jones chips and so I will go that direction. Appreciate your insight, quite helpful to me. Dave

Thanks for that insight, really appreciate the help. I plan to buy a clay set later but I think these Nud Jones chips will be fun to play with my sons until then. Appreciate your input, Dave

Bud jones - plastic
Paulson - clay
Thanks much appreciate the reply. Dave

Typically I'm useful for more lengthy informational responses, a little off my game due to the fact that i just dont like Bud Jones chips. They aren't my thing, I find them to be slippery and lightweight, they fall all over the place. Some other versions are probably weighted and handle better. Just depends on the taste of the individual.. I also don't like the white pips, the whole chip just isn't my thing lol
Both are great deals though, and yes the paulson roulettes do have the word roulette pressed into the outer ring on the face. That can somewhat limit your options as far as relabeling goes. I have however seen these chips beautifully repurposed. I think it just depends on your end goal

Yes I do get the preference and I totally agree. With the price and what they are I suspect they will meet my purpose until I can find what I ant which is a real clay Paulson set that appeals to me. May take awhile so here will be fun until then I suspect. But 5anks for your insights it helps because I won’t have unrealistic expectations, they will be light plastic chips, so I won’t be disappointed. Appreciated, Dave

Apologize for all the typos.

They're great chips to take alot of use because you really cant wear them down like you can clay. So if you have other friends or children that can use them when you do step up to a paulson set, then they aren't a wasted investment (imo)

Out of curiosity I just decided to weigh some of my new HSIs
The 5s average 8.8 grams while the 25s average 8.0 grams. Don’t know why the greens are lighter but noticed the same thing with the horseshoe Cincinnati chips.

Different colours, different chemicals. Some have heavier bases, others lighter.
