RedRoom .... Rulings...... (2 Viewers)

He just started last week. N8ball or something like that. I know because he asked me to send the Venmo payment and gave me the cash to pay for it the night of this hand.

The note was meant to say Coaching for Brian from Cleveland. I was tired when I sent it.

Huh, well N8Ball was on the show. I didn’t listen to the whole show just the first caller. I’ll prolly get drunk and listen to the rest later tonight.

Okay! So I think that we will need to tune in NEXT Wednesday to enjoy the show. Bart said in his little intro speil that he is doing next weeks show on Wednesday. This dude said in his OP which was posted Monday at 9:48ish eastern that he would be sharing the details next Wednesday. The post was made after Bart ran the show (starts at 4 eastern). So this show doesn’t have anything to do with our boy unfortunately. I will be double fisting margaritas next Wednesday and tuning in for that podcast. I have a CLP membership and will not miss it. I’m am slightly disappointed that Brian wasn’t on episode 420 since it would be most fitting. I guess he’s not a big enough baller to pull that one off :(

Yes, I talked to you about trying to get a highly raked illegal game shut down. He was/is taking advantage of the players in the game for about $2k/night in rake. Those players deserve a better game. Is it yours, I don’t think so now. I was hoping you could be.

I have never done anything about that game because I would not want to risk any fallout effecting my family. But yes, I would love to see that game end. He is a predator.
You don’t owe me or anyone else an explanation when some idiot comes in slinging personal shit, but I admit I was really surprised to read this. Thinking about gettin a game raided for high rake? Surely there’s more to this story?

Honestly, I'd report it to the IRS and collect tax fraud bounty on it!

I think you get like 50% of the back taxes or something. I'll assume he clears 6 figs in rake yearly on the game. Paid 0 taxes on it. You could prolly get a fat IRS check for it.

Like I said, I would never do anything myself. Not worth it.
I don't think using the government as a weapon of revenge is good form. None of us should support raids considering what has happened to other upstanding members here that have been on the business end of this.

That's like shooting a guy that stepped on your lawn.

The guy is a dink, losing @Rhodeman77 as a friend (and not being able to visit his sweet chippies) is probably punishment enough, even if this guy isn't smart enough to know it.

Deception at poker table? Poker is really been to south if people are telling the lies when. Playing the poker. What's next, checking then raisin?

But you should not make fun of baller for his bad grandma. One my friends has dyslexia, he writes poorly. Like baller. But is the nicest guy in the world. Please not make fun of hand in cap.

@Rhodeman77, you could have avoided all this if you had shown your aces when betting, but you chose not to follow proper poker etiquette.

It’s “COULDN’T care less” FFS
While you may have hit the nail on the nose, I say: To each is own. But let's do a 360 and get back on track. This could all be a blessing in the skies as we've all now learned proper etiquette of showing before shoving, rather than having to learn from denial and error. But we must make sure we all stick to this, as a link is only as long as your longest strong chain

You’re not gonna make me the escape goat here or turn me into a social leopard.

In all fairness.

I could care less. But I’m happy with the amount of care I have given at this point.

And it does seem this whole thread was posted for intense purposes.

Grammarians be damned.

Doesn't Cleveland have casinos? Why would anyone go to a game with that kind of rake?
The main reason is the relaxed atmosphere and playing with the same group of guys. Not a bunch of casino regs. They don’t realize how much they are paying for a sheet pizza and a couple of beers. Also a lot of them don’t bring the thousands of dollars they will eventually put on the table. So they can send an electronic transfer at the end of the night for what they owe. But if they thought about it for more than 5 minutes they would realize they don’t need him to have the same game and could all be saving about $200ea./week in rake.

Jesus. For that level of rake, I’d expect sushi and a bartender. Or at least Chinese. Not that there’s anything wrong with pizza and beer. I do love pizza and beer.

Bby. I'll have a chef upstairs for 8 bucks a hand. And Audrey will massage you.

The rake you mentioned seems like a lot but then again maybe not that high for a private game…whats the drop? 10% up to $10?

$15. Pretty much no matter what.

Plus since it is a $5/5 game they don’t have $1’s in the table. So people feel compelled to tip $5 every hand, and his wife is the dealer.
