It's been a long time, maybe 15-20 years, since I was deep into RC but I did fairly recently (2 years ago) buy a very cheap e-buggy, WLToys 124017, to get my RC fix.

1. What types of RC are you into?
   • Mostly cars trucks, 1/10 and 1/8 scale, and both nitro and electric. And a drone.
   • Have had HotBodies, Team Associated, Traxxas for cars/trucks/buggies. But I never ventured into truggies although I wanted to.
2. Do you buy RTR, kits to build, or sometimes both?
   • I've done it all but really enjoy builds from scratch.
3. How many do you currently own?
   • 1/12 e-buggy
   • DJI Spark
4. Post at least one pic of your RCs? Below
5. What do I miss most?
   • TRACK DAYS! Nothing like hard packed clay and the announcer calling your car out when you make a nice move!

I was heavily into RC many, many, years ago.

  • I raced 1/10th electric and gas offroad and dabbled in 1/8th scale offroad between 1994-2000.
  • I raced for Team Associated and participated in the 1997 IFMAR Worlds at the World Famous Ranch Pit Shop.
  • I custom painted bodies for several of the top racers of the era (Brian Kinwald, Mark Pavidis

  • I don't buy anything anymore... but if I did, I would buy kits.

  • I still have a Mugen Super Athlete from the late 1990's

4. This is my last nitro car I sold to a buddy at work. Built from the ground up & painted to match one of my favorite American LeMans cars ever which I saw race at Sears & Laguna.

Yes, yes, and yes!

1. RC Cars
2. I’ve bought both RTR and kits. I prefer kits, rebuilds, and mods.
3. Between my son and I, we have 6 (mix of RTR, kits, and custom rebuilds/conversions)

Kits are the best way to learn. My son and built this Tamiya TT-02. It’s a blast to drive, that’s what got us into it. Kinda like chips, moar is better
