Hello, I'm Pun from Thailand, a country where playing poker is still not legal. Even so, many Thai people still like to play poker.

Most Thai people play in foreign online apps because it is less complicated and there is no risk of breaking the law.

I like the excitement of playing at a real table, real cards and real chips, it's more fun, more exciting.

What is quite hard to find in Thailand is quality poker equipment especially high quality poker chips.

I think good quality chips make playing poker more enjoyable.
And this place is filled with high-quality and beautiful chips.

Yes, there are restrictions for many thing here Thai shipping company is the only way to import gambling equipment from US. If ship with UPS, FEDX or other outside company it will end-up at Thai custom warehouse and never see it again. Also there is no Thai factory or company produce any kind of gambling equipment, most of it from China. I believe a few Thai people know about real clay or Paulson chip.

If we play private Fine. But if somehow police knock your door and see gambling activities you might go to jail. However money can solve problems.

I also tried order from Keywest too recently. They not ship even freight-forwarder address in US. I guess they konw that someone in Thailand want to touch their quality chip. However, it's not their fault keywest said that if sent to Thailand and then stuck at the customs checkpoint They may lose their license in the US.

Yes, I got a tournament set from China and played it for fun with a little bit of money from each palyer for 1st winner and just to not have everyone say all-in!! for no reason.

Sure. you can still manage to find nice poker clubs in bangkok and many in other city

Not legal but if the place look good and cosy you should be safe from the eye of laws
