This mockup is more for fun rather than science.
Here's the story:
We play a weekly low stakes holdem cash game that's been running for almost 20 years. One of my neighbors dropped out of the game due to work responsibilities but then he retired so he was interested in getting back in the game. I asked the host and he agreed to work my neighbor back into the game. We have a pretty LAG player and my neighbor was somewhat of a nit.
We allow that if players are heads up and they get it all in, they can agree to run the remainder of the board more than once (usually it's twice).

Only after a few weeks back in the game my neighbor finds himself heads up, all-in against the LAG. Hands were turned up and LAG flopped a straight, neighbor flopped a set. My neighbor asked the LAG if he'd run it twice (which the LAG is always happy to do) but the LAG player was losing pretty badly at this point and he'd rather bust and just re-load or double up, so he refused to run it more than once, to the complete chagrin of my neighbor.

Now nits can really sweat it, which was the case after the hands were turned up... I think he was literally shaking. Turn is a brick, River pairs the board giving Mr. Nit the full house! He was so worked up, as he was raking the chips he said "THANKS FOR RUNNING IT ONCE, THANKS FOR RUNNING IT ONCE". Yes, he said it twice. He wasn't laughing and the table fell silent. I know the guy was so worked up that he probably wasn't thinking but gee, it was only a $40 - $50 pot.

He had subsequent opportunity to apologize or say something but he didn't. Sadly, he hasn't been invited back to the game. I think the crew can tolerate sore losers more than sore winners.

I tend to find humor in things, so for your enjoyment is this tribute chip I mocked up to commemorate the event:

The hands were revealed before deciding how many times to run it? That's the big mistake, right there.
Some people play it that way. At this particular game most want to know what they're up against before deciding how many times to run it. I don't mind showing my hand at that point. When that happens it's usually the person who is ahead to make the final decision but occasionally we have had two players do it blind. If one person doesn't want to show, then the the other player is more inclined to run it once. How 2 players decide to negotiate isn't part of the House rules, it's up to them.

The white chips are great so I made variants where its a $1 with a blue alternative and a $100 with a black alternative.
It leans pretty hard into the Italian theme but in the games I play in Central Jersey these would be a huge hit.

Thinking about a Cali color-esque cash set, this was a quick lineup I put together tonight. Not set on them, but it's a start.

.05 dayglow peach, .25 dayglow pink/charcoal, $1 Dayglow peacock, $5 Dayglow yellow, $20 Blurple

Here are two different styles I have been trying out.
I like the elk and mountain themes but am also liking the traditional Chinese vibe with dragons and lanterns.

I hope inlay mock-ups are welcome here as well…

When I visited the Netherlands two weeks ago, we went out for dinner at a really nice steakhouse that was called Block‘n‘Barrel.

Instantly an idea was born:

I love the name and I really like „old school“ inlays. I‘ve been eyeing the Binions design for a while now and this seems like a good fit.

I might just pull the trigger on a small set…

I'm worried about the legibility of some of this.

Try printing out at real size (3/4" to 1" diameter) and hold at arm's length. Can you still read it clearly? If yes, then it's good to go.
I've held the Binions 43mm samples, this is the same font and font size, so I am confident that it'll be fine. :)

Sniffing around yet again for another set. Exploring a previous lightly touched set based on the movie "Ponyo" by Studio Ghibli. My daughter absolutely loves this movie and I want to make a tribute set for this fantastic story. Maybe some day this will become the real deal.

We love ponyo and Totoro

So my set comes from an imaginary D&D tavern called the Drunken Dragon. The logo on the inlay has a green dragon (Gaz) and a red dragon (Toasty). My hope is to publish 2 sets over time. A set of diverse designs with a good amount of inspiration from the Aurora Star line that are the ones Gaz likes. The other are an all bear claw set that Toasty likes. (Each dragon also has beer preferences). I use chips overwhelmingly for board and table top games and my group doesnt gamble (so no cash games so far, but tournaments for prizes are popular).

I'm still working on Gaz's set, but here is Toasty's set.

Oh also, my intent is to make these open to everyone in the group buys since security isn't an issue for me and I like to spread happiness.

Dragon inlays loosely emulating the Rounders style. The $1 somewhat copies the Bellagio $500 colors... one of my favorite chips ever.

These are inlays for the Last Rodeo I had designed. I was playing around with the Paulson Poker Chip Designer tool just for fun. For this set if I could I would like to go with Non Standard colors that the 1's, 5's, 25's, and 100's normally come in. This is maybe something I could do if I ever get a Paulson Connection or if I want go on the cheap get something done through Tina. For the 25C I messed up when clipping the inlay so it won't look like that in reality it would be larger like all the rest.

Hate the non standard colors ($5, $20 and $25 ).
I'd swap the 25c and $1 because the non standard colors tilt me.

BUT THE DESIGN IS AWESOME.

So an update here, these should be available for Tina buys starting next month. The labels definitely aren't everyone's cup of tea. That said, we finally have some Aurora Star cash chips available. Plus I think of lot of these designs could fit with a lot of different sets. Credit to Okku for the formatting.

And here is the inlay with no denomination if anyone does want it for whatever reason.
