Some people play it that way. At this particular game most want to know what they're up against before deciding how many times to run it. I don't mind showing my hand at that point. When that happens it's usually the person who is ahead to make the final decision but occasionally we have had two players do it blind. If one person doesn't want to show, then the the other player is more inclined to run it once. How 2 players decide to negotiate isn't part of the House rules, it's up to them.The hands were revealed before deciding how many times to run it? That's the big mistake, right there.
