Post mockups for fun/science? (18 Viewers)

Finalized the CPC designs, considering a small number of plaques to go with for deep stacks/rebuys. BRPro is cheaper and seems much easier to order from, but I'm also wondering if the MSK plaques are worth the extra $$ and design work. Also have a friend who could do an etched acrylic dealer button which could be neat (the red lines just show the edges of the button).

I have the bottom set… would like to inlay replace the 1, 5, and 100 to “Mizpah”

For the 5, I guess potentially I could get original 5 in the top set? But do you think the yellow edge spots clash?

Dead Man's Saloon (DM's Saloon; my initials are D.M.)

I wanted to go the CPC route, but since I'm on a budget I tired to keep it simple. It will be a 600pcs cash set.
I mostly have two groups over, one 5c/10c game, one 25c/50c game. Still waiting for my CPC color samples to have a look in real life and light, and already in talks with CPC in regards of next HHR Mold installation.

I like the 1€ chip. For the quarter I would give a try to light green imho to add some contrast and not use two times the same green. For the 20€ if you want to keep the yellow you could try a light chocolate spot to replace butterscotch. Also be aware that mandarin red base and pink base can sometimes look really close in low artificial light.

Thank you for your feedback. I like the similarity between the imperial blue and green of the 25c. It's still a work in progress, and I'll tweak it. Currently thinking about switching the white and pink chips places, as well as playing around with the pink chips' edge spot colors.

While you're waiting for the color samples...

Light situation - Morning sun through the window, no artificial light.

HHR is a great, nice-feeling mold... if you have a fitting theme. And you do :)

You're the real MVP.
Danke aus dem Süden der Republik.

This already reassures me on the 5c, 25c, 1e and 5e (which will be the white 2v12 chip). I do like the pink as well as base for the 20e, and I don't think there is the danger of it being too similar to the mandarin red 5c.

In my one group where we play 5c/10c the 20e won't ever see the light and in the 25c/50c game, I won't have 5c's in play. :)

Other edge spot colors for the pink that I'm considering is light green, light chocolate, lavender & light lavender.

100% agree with using a lighter green on the 25c. Either Light Green or DG Green. Personally I would go DG. It's not really that bright for a DG color.

Mandarin red is kind of a weird color in person. Somewhat orangish, but not in a super pleasant way. I would use it as a spot, but not as a base color myself. If you want a true red, go with Retro Red. It's a great color.

I saw the DG Green on the Rounders hundo as edge spot and it looked light green to me. Might do this.
Same goes for the red. I will decide once I can see the color samples in real life under different lightings.

Meanwhile, I finalized the inlay design. Changed the name to make it even more personal and went with a texture to make it look aged/used. Plus threw in a dealer Button as well:

Huge shoutout to @mattross1313 for coming in clutch like Jordan… The odds are still long whether or not Gear can spin up the labels in time for my graduation party, but I’ll most definitely have them before the bar exam. These chips will be in play on August 1 no matter what—only question is if that’ll be their debut.

Again—can’t shout Matt out enough. I publicly announce that if he’s ever in NY—steaks on me!

(And yes--my color choices may be factually inaccurate but they look visually closest to me on my screen)

Pleasure helping put the labels together for you, some great chips in the line up! I hope you get them ready for the party!

Only made it NYC once, but while there I did have one of my all time best steaks! So gladly try another on my next visit :cool

Arabian Nights v1.png

Label Design:
Arabian Nights - Casino de Marrakech
- Denom has the Maincolor of the Chip, except the $5 cause the blue is too dark
- Stars have the color of the Chipspots (dont even know if visible on the Sticker)

I feel like the font of the denom (on the plaque also) doesn’t fit. Feels like it needs to be something a little fancier.

I’m contemplating getting a CPC cash set. .25, $1, $5, $25, $100. Any thoughts on my colors and edge spots?

Make sure you really want a DG Saturn base because it is a weird color… Do you have a color sample to see if you like it ?
I don’t have samples. I’ll get a set before I order.

Lose DG Saturn as a base. Go with 3916 and lose “tri-moon” which is actually half circle, (I’ll die on that hill), switch DG tiger to DG peach.

Let’s start there and revisit.
