Post mockups for fun/science? (9 Viewers)

it is really? does it change state to state? i'm from western canada and i don't know if we have that (we probably do but i don't know)
Yes, Cali colors are generally blue $1s, yellow $5s, black $20s, purple $25s, and white $100s. However, there's a bit of of wiggle room on these. A lot of Cali sets have brown $20s, some use gray $100s, some have brown $5s, some have green $1s, some have green $20s, etc.

cool i didn't know that!

Nevada and California colour progessions are well known and used, with some variations by casino choice. Some states like Missouri (I think) have the colours of their denominated value chips enshrined in their gaming commission bylaws.
ya maybe i'm not sure. i should really look at my province and see what ours are

Its been a while since I have played around with the CPC design tool. Decided to jump back in after everything I have been absorbing since I first joined. Its Cali colour inspired and have included a few options for each denom except the hundo. The whole set was built around it. All feedback is welcome. Quarter pies are 25c, blues $1, yellows $5, purples $25, white $100, orange $500

a few more revisions.

Idea of design for @SUN-FLY Poker Chips hybrid chips HB005 (43mm with 25.4mm laminated labels).
I'll also add the design for a dealer button (PolyChrom 60mm) and an octogon 44mm bounty plaque.

The type of chips is inspired by the WPT Bellagio chips and the theme is a wink to Bellagio. Menaggio is a village just on the opposite side of the real Bellagio village at Como Lake in Italy.

I used the SunFly color palette for this design.

One of my first attempts playing around with colors. I know some of the edge spots are the same, but they are three denominations away.

"Black seal":

Same as the above but with some progression:

Newbie here, open to criticism!

Convert these mockups to grayscale (to simulate bad lighting conditions) and look at the stack sides. Dirty stack galore.

Mockup #1 is irritating because there's only one chip with a different edge spot design. It feels out of place in that lineup.
Mockup #2 the first two chips still have the same edge spot design, there is no progression. Rotating the spot doesn't count - look at the edge. The 618 still feels out of place as all the other chips visually look like a variant of T316.

If you want to go for best practicability (distinguishability), you pretty much have to throw any concept of "spot progression" over board.

There are some nice color combinations in these mockups though.

Haha! I just made some of these! Chiplab and not bad but think I'll use the design on something higher quality

I have no idea what to do with this, but I had the idea and couldn't get it out of my head until I made something for y'all to see. It's a crude mockup, but if anyone takes it and runs with it let me know! :ROFLMAO:

No worries, I've got plenty of free time to mess with the new design tool. :p

A suggestion to newbies here.
Here 's your cash set (ND frac - 1 - 5 - 20 - 100). Nice and cheap (by CPC standards).
I 'd even use the generic CPC label indeed if I didn't have a source of inspiration and just wanted top-notch chips.
Easier to resell, too, normally.
Ignore the HHR mold, it should be done on A-mold, preferably with 1in inlays, to make room for denominations.
@David Spragg :)
