Cash and toruney mockup. Guess the inspiration! Lol.

Weather didn't allow me to work today, so I messed around with an idea that I've had. Inspired by the Great River Bridge, Burlington's most recognizable landmark.

Hi everyone I was working on a Cash & Tourney set. What does everyone think about the Edge Spots, and color combinations chosen? It's going to be on the Horsehead mold. I decided that I would go with chips direct from CPC or the ceramics from BOSCOS. I'm leaning towards CPC as I might as well get Clays over ceramics. Not that there is anything wrong with Ceramics. The inlay is in the works and will be a secret until the very end.

My Color Breakdown would be. I haven't decided on Quantities yet.
White $1
Red $5
Green $25
Black $100
Purple $500
Blue $1000
Pink $5000
Gray NCV

Thanks for any input,
Mike

Nice lineup! If you're serious about getting a CPC set, make sure you get a recent color sample (if you don't already have one). Some of the color combos you have here may look a good deal different in real life.

The lavender and retro lavender base colors may be too close to distinguish and you may get some dirty stack issues.

Thanks for the heads up. Will get samples.

For some reason, the second row looks very "washed out" compared to the top row. I think you may need to find some spot colours with more contrast compared to the base colours there.

Thanks Berny. That's the type of feedback I need. I just ordered some samples. So that may help too..

While I'm waiting for my CPC Samples this is my second shot at mocking up a set. Changed some of the base chip colors so none are that similar to each other and making sure the edge spots on chips are not that close to the original chip color.

Question I know the standard colors for $100 Chips are usually black. What are people's thoughts on alternate colors like Yellow or Charcoal like I have below? Or should I stick with Black like below? I have White $1, Red $5, Green $25, Purple $500, Light Gray $1,000,Pink $5,000 and Blue NCV. The other chips are a few posts above. Thanks for any comments.

I also love the CPC maroon for a hundo, or as a Cali $20. I just think it's a great deep red-brown color, and looks great with lots of the dayglo colors as edgespots.

Did this just for fun as the TAJ was my casino for a long time growing up. I went there as a kid and played in the Arcade there many Saturdays with my Brother, and then I eventually graduated to the table floor games and then the TAJ poker room. If there was ever a mold for a TAJ MAHAL set it would be the Crown and Elephant mold. The edge spots were the closest I could get to the original edge spots on the real chips. This is just a fantasy set that I did for fun, but I do plan on doing a different custom set. I'm still having the design worked on.
