Are you designing it for us or yourself? :) Seriously though, I remember holding off in the beginning too expecting the worse:

First off. Adapt the mentality that if you like it, who cares. Screw everyone else (I had to edit the word fuck out so I don't get yelled at again).

Please post it.........pretty please.

Seriously dude? I like a lot of custom sets. Your set is a top three for me. The 4th isn't even close :)

@krafticus POST IT! POST IT! POST IT!

As long as they aren’t dice chips I wouldn’t worry about too much ridicule.

I really hope they aren’t dice chips

Thank you sir!
When you're embarking on something new like customs, and you're a delicate flower like me, there are some pretty intimidating people in this community.

Obviously dice chips are horrible to play with due to being slick, plastic, and unstackable. That all goes away with a CPC set. The design is iconic though. When you see dice chips, you don't think blackjack or roulette. You think poker. Therefore, I put this together...

After seeing the Cleopatra set the idea of a HHR set is growing on me. So I have been busy mocking up a cash set.

I have to have a charcoal chip in the next set I do, since the $5 is workhorse in my sets I figured I would showcase it.

Chips are $1-$5-$25-$100

The awesome $1 chip of @mashoo (Suited Kingdom) inspired me to build a set around a similar color combo with a classic retro theme in mind. Working title is "Casino di Garda" - named after the Gardasee in northern Italy which was a famous vacation destination for all germans from the mid 50's to the mid 60's. Oh - there never was any casino within a radius of ~50 miles. :D

The goal for each chip was to resemble a classic color combo from that time period. Apparently I dumped the standard base colors for the denoms to set it apart from the usual approach to a cash set.

Used colors are:
0,25: Charcoal, Black, Red, Light Green
1: Light Blue, Dayglo Orange, Black, Canary
5: Yellow, Imperial Blue, Maroon, White
20: White, Retro Green, Orange, Dayglo Arc Yellow

Messing around in the design tool for the first time, dreaming of future sets. No ideas on theme/label, but likely would be something generic or fantasy casino style.

Thoughts?

Not sure I love the frac or the $1

Questioning the 1k...

First shot at designing a set. This will be a last-a-lifetime cash game set, and I want it to be traditional/classic (in both colors and denominations). I play with a few different groups of guys, everything from .25/.25 NL to 2/5/10 NL. The set will need to accommodate all games in between.

Here's what I came up with. I'm struggling with what I believe is the most important (workhorse) chip - the $5. Input appreciated.
