New dresser from IKEA as we are preparing the beach house for short term rental.

My wife and I are still married, mostly because I stayed out of the way while she built the dresser.

Seemed appropriate for Audri—new tire valve stem caps.

Nice! These Valve Stem Caps you have remind me of a Bike I built years ago. '88 Frame and Fork and hunted down out all the parts. I made the bike Pink and added the Hello Kitty Valve Stem Caps. Tried to get my wife to ride it.

This is the Sony BDP-S380 Blu-Ray Player I just got from Mercari and setup last night. I didn't get this to Play Blu-Rays. This Sony Blu-Ray player will play Super Audio CDs which is the specific reason why I wanted this. It specifically will play the SACD layer of a Hybrid SACD Disc where some Blu-Ray and DVD players players with SACD functionality will not read the SACD layer on a Hybrid Disc and only the CD layer. As my first SACDs I got Dire Straits, The Police, and TOTO. I will have to say in my Home Theater Setup the Super Audio CDs sound Great especially those that are remastered in 5.1. I am so pleased with the sound of the SACDs. My next SACDs maybe some Van Halen. A lot of Great SACDs are imported from Japan or the UK as less are made here.

The year before my niece was born the movie Moana came out. Little did I know that 8 years later it would be in my top 10 of most watched movies in my lifetime (I turn 50 in July) Scanning market place the other day a Lego HeiHei appeared. My favourite character from the movie.

My wife rolled her eyes when she saw it. To be fair I’ve lit bigger piles of money on fire for dumber stuff  :ROFLMAO:

Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical watch. "The" field watch. Kind of an icon in the watch world. Simple, functional and beautiful.

I tend to beat up watches pretty quickly, so I normally focus on watches that cost less than $250. I have a Citizen Promaster Diver that has been in two oceans with me, and a Tissot Classic Dream dress watch. I wear a $149 Luminox at work, just in case I destroy it.

I'd love to get an Omega Speedmaster Professional someday, but at $7K +, I'd be afraid to wear it.

This Hamilton, received this weekend, is now the top of my collection.

Sick and tired of losing power every time we get 10mph winds. Seriously, lost power for 8 hours yesterday after a lightning strike and two other times for 2-4 hours in the past two weeks.
Funny, just got one for the Florida house, a week ago. Break-in Period is complete. On father's day, installed the Transfer Switch.

Also ordered a small furniture dolly with 4 swivel wheels to put under the 2 rubber feet, so, if I am not at home when needed, the family members can wheel it out on the driveway without having to pick it up the entire way, and then they can remove the cart when it needs to run, then wheel it back it when finished.

Also, occasional one-off deals in Amazon Resale like this - 12 decks of new Copag bridge/poker index that come to $6/deck after tax, Amazon Prime rebate, and free shipping. I’ve bought many labeled “used” but all have arrived unopened and sealed. They are returns or inventory reductions.

(A PCF member should grab this one. It’s available now!)

Edit: Meant to post this here!

We put in a whole house system after the multi-day outage that we had in Texas a few winters ago. We used to lose power multiple times a year. We haven’t had a single outage since we put it in. Not sure that’s run good or run bad, but hope it works out in your favor.

That's called insurance. Buying something and hoping you never (or rarely) need to use it. Definitely run good.

Found an awesome Facebook Marketplace deal to add on to my side hustle DJ business.

Ignore the TV behind the right side speaker..... I didn't get to choose where I set up. Old lighting unit in this pic. New one is 100x better.

Whole house for the win!
