If so I’ve handled them theyre a bit slicker, Strat $5s are a good example of themYou mean the premium decor ring chips with acrylic inserts?
Totally agree with both of the above assessments. Less clay-to-clay surface contact area = more slippery, and less clay/more plastic = lighter weight. They look sorta cool, but not worth the downside in playability imo. Definitely more expensive than standard THC inlay chips.
Agree. Awesome bounty/seating chip potential with theseThey'd be a cool tourney hi denom or bounty, I thought about relabeling a barrel of strat $5s as bounty chips View attachment 551760
Not on the edges.I'd be interested to see how these chips wear over time. Would the decor ring prevent the chip from getting thinner?
thats the first live one i have seen. thanks for sharing. anyone else seen them out in the wild?I didn't mind it on the high denoms.
This pic is from Morongo in Cali.
Was going to keep this chip when I cashed out, but ended up tossing it into a pot I did not win

Is there anywhere that uses these chips in a casino? I'd like to see them with an official inlay or something of that nature
