When cleaning premium clay (Paulsons, CPC etc) is it recommended to use toothbrush and dish soap or can that damage the chips? Any difference in game play after being soaked in water and cleaned?

Main thing to think about is water temperature when cleaning. Do not use very hot water (keep below 42 celcius) or you could heat and warp your chips. Hand tolerable warm is better than hot.

Other than that soap and water are most advised. The link above provides further details on chemicals folks use along with Ultrasonic options and instructions.

Good luck
