Man. Been a while since I’ve been in a store. It’s great to see some regular drinkers on the shelves again.
Surprised to see cases of this available at my local liquor store here in SoCal. Did something happen? Usually it’s about $150 per bottle.

Hype died down. I saw Blantons, caribou crossing, ecbp, WTRB just sitting on shelves. Which they should be since they’re only good for drinking.
I about gave up on bourbon since I couldn’t find my drinkers anymore. But twas a ray of hope seeing WTRB and Mck10
Yea I figured it would since it definitely wasn’t worth the prices they were going for.

WTRB is still one of my top drinkers. Drinks better than most bottles I have that paid way more for. Even with the price increase in my area to $53 I’ll still be a regular buyer

WTRB has always been a regular shelver for as long as I can remember. Rare Breed was a $40 bottle when I first tried it…and I was hooked. Consistently great!
I have to agree…WTRB, even at $53-55ish is still the pound for pound champion in barrel/higher proof offerings.

I’ve only tried the EHT SB and SiB and their flavor profile wasn’t really my jam but people rave about the EHTBP. Is it along the same tasting notes??

I love Eht sb so far.
Imo, the eht stuff is pretty simple. All have a clean profile, easy to drink, and there's nothing sophisticated about them. I don't usually drink during the week, but when Friday night hits, its one of my first pours. Its a good warmup for the palate.

A buddy sent me a blind a few weeks ago with HH17, RR SR CN-F, 4r SmbLE 2019, and an old MGP blaum 12 yr oldfangled knotter. HH17 > Blaum > RR CNF > 4r...
Haven't cracked this bottle yet, but the HH17 was by far the standout. I had one of those, mmmm this is so good, reactions when I got to it in the blind. Not many things have done that...well PHC Blend of Mashbills did in another blind by the same guy... gotta try and track down one of those.
