I'm just gonna hop over those scotch posts

Now for a new bottle pop: Oban 15 year Cask Strength:

First impression is very nice, and very different. Very sweet and syrupy to balance the salty typical Oban notes, tons of raisins and honey, pretty unique. Will likely be grabbing a backup.
Picked up a bottle of this too. Really enjoyed my first pour of it. Oban 14 is my go-to scotch so seemed nice to try at $150. Probably wouldn't spend any more than that on a second bottle but this will def get enjoyed

I actually don't find Oban needs age. I don;t think the 18 is worth buying over the 14 and I had a 20-something once and enjoyed it but wasn't blown away. Some scotch really loves smooth age but Oban is perfect at 14

Which Four Roses Single Barrel is the one that everybody looks for the hardest? I have these two available at my local liquor store. Should I grab either one of these?

Anyone have experience moving their collection cross country? I have about 100 open bottles + 20 closed + roughly 60 bottles of wine
Wine you can pack into styrofoam holders in cardboard shipping boxes fairly easily. Might be a little more effort to back the others.

Thought about digging into the new 100p 4RSBs but popped this one instead. First time trying one of the OESF variations; I typically don't care for mint but I wanted to try it and this bottle had a pretty decent age to it.

Very nice neck pour :p, I love then soft fruits on the nose of the "OEs" across the board, and this one follows suit. Really full flavored on the palate, and the herbal/mint really doesn't come through until the finish, and its a nice accent. Not my favorite recipe, but I'm glad I snagged it for the collection.
