After trying a couple of pours of this at the @Seeking Alpha Social Club meetup (courtesy of @joeyshin ), I had to get a bottle. Luckily it was in stock at my local store. Even @Rbonus012 was a fan, and he doesn’t like the hard stuff lol.

Yeah--it drinks waaaaay below its weight, proof-wise. Not hot like other high-proofers. But if you're not careful, it can catch up to you fast.

so June 11th Ohio is releasing 10 barrels of russels reserve select barrels.

I’ve read that each batch so far has been a different proof…kinda like Stagg Jr. does. All three bottles I’ve had were 66% and I remember reading that was the second release. Batch 3 is 63.7%.
I could be wrong, but I’ve had a taste of the 63.7% batch and I clearly favored the 66% batch.

I have someone working for me now. I have a full time job so can't be there on delivery days most the time. I have my retired mother in law going to the local shops and standing in line on delivery days to see what allocated bottles they get in.

There is still a tiny amount of batch A121 floating around the Portland stores (I just picked up 2). Complete shutout of either A122 or B522 though. Oregon distribution is strange, lol.
