Nope. Just the street I live on...
lost power during my home game this past weekend. Without missing a beat I pulled out my stream light protac 2L and stuck it in a cup holder facing the ceiling. That sucker kicked off enough lumens to keep our game going 1.5 hours until the power kicked back on. Nobody even missed a beat. I’m so proud of my dengen poker friends.
A new guy at the game convinced us to do a few orbits of stud and PLO which was like giving heroine to alcoholics. Pots escalated quickly and the drunkest guy managed to walk away up $500 on a $50 buy in. I was the sober one sadly out 5 buy ins. Oh well next time.

Jealous you can play outside. If we did that...
- Players would start sweating.
- The chips would start melting
- All beers/drinks would be consumed in the first hour, trying to stay hydrated.
- Sun goes down, bugs come out.
- We all get bit to pieces.
- It would rain. 20% chance of rain = there will be a sudden downpour for 5 minutes. No exceptions. Everyone moves inside.
- Play indoors. Everyone is smelly, drunk, and picking at their flesh. We would all be "that guy" in the casino.
I would love to have an outdoor game too but where I live right now cards would be all over the place because of this damn delta breeze (norcal)

Last night was ROSE but we threw Omaha hi/hi in the mix, making it ROOSE. To make it clear we put two hi/lo buttons on the table. So we had lo for Razz, hi/lo for O8 and stud8, hi/hi for Omaha hi/hi, and hi for stud.

Two things I learned last night:
1, My “low carb” friends will eat lots of hotdogs but not the buns. I have no dogs left but 6 bags of buns
2, I need to hide my cognac better

Hotdogs + cognac = breakfast of champions!
As one of those low carb friends, I can easily put down 4-5 hot dogs when I skip the buns.
And here's my home game bar trick: put the bottles you want players to drink up front, put the bottles you don't mind them drinking in the back, and put the stuff you want to keep in another room. (y) :thumbsup:
