So much scrotum...

Scrotum is a mixed game. You get 5 cards preflop, discard as many as you wish but yoh MUST play all the cards you keep. The rest played like NLHE.
I like everything about that, except the name! Sounds fun!

Hosted the usual .25/.50 NLHE game last night and had enough interest for two tables - that hasn't happened in a long time. My Empress set was barely big enough, and I managed to run out of $5s and get a barrel or so of the $25s in play.

Ran well most of the night, then got crushed in the last couple hours. Here's my stack at its peak, before I gave it all away and then some...

Great time last night. BBQ first, then some poker action after. In attendance from PCF:

@justsomedude

Thought the game might have needed to move inside due to weather but about a half hour of playing it settled down and was beautiful for the rest of the night.

My straight flush improving from a flush to win a decent pot and some other action shots. Won a few hundred myself. Good times!

Jealous you can play outside. If we did that...
  1. Players would start sweating.
  2. The chips would start melting
  3. All beers/drinks would be consumed in the first hour, trying to stay hydrated.
  4. Sun goes down, bugs come out.
  5. We all get bit to pieces.
  6. It would rain. 20% chance of rain = there will be a sudden downpour for 5 minutes. No exceptions. Everyone moves inside.
  7. Play indoors. Everyone is smelly, drunk, and picking at their flesh. We would all be "that guy" in the casino. :bag:

Some of my friends have been interested in learning to play, so we had a noob night. It was a beautiful Iowa evening for this time of the year, so we were able to play outside on the patio. No cash involved (this time :D )

Grilled hot dogs. Sorry--no roller!

I started with the parents table (in the background), then left them to their own devices while I taught the young'uns, ages 16-23. That's me with the glasses.
My 21yo son, who's one of our regulars, flashing the peace sign.
Playing on an old, but solid folding table. Bad green felt, but it works. Parent table was our patio table with a BBO topper, which I ordered Friday on Amazon Prime, and surprisingly was delivered today by USPS--on a Sunday?!!

James Bond Casino Night 7 was a great success!

There's the Chanman himself working his magic at the roulette table! Notice the little Roger Moore marker just above the "0" on the felt?

And here's yours truly, dealing blackjack and using the custom ceramics.

All in all, including the proceeds from generous chippers like yourselves, we raised in the vicinity of $2000 (Canadian) for the charity Music Heals (promotes music therapy programs in a health care context)!
