NLHE How many Royal Flushes have you hit? (4 Viewers)

2 online, one live (O8, so I chopped it...FML).

I remember being a kid and my dad was teaching me hand ranks. He said, "straight, flush, full house, 4 of a kind." When I learned about SFs and Rfs, I asked him why he didn't include them in hand rankings. "No one ever hits those."

Two. One at a casino the other at a home game.

One is my favourite poker story.

Ages ago I would sneak into my local casino underage. Had done this several times before, and had pretty good success keeping a low profile. So I sneak into the casino at 17 years old with a buddy to play some 3/6 Limit Hold'em. Hit the Royal on the river and my opponent bets and folds when I raise (duh). She mucks and I say, "we'll I've got to show this hand" and turn over AK for the royal. The table goes wild, and the entire poker room turns around, looks at me and gives me a round of applause. So much for the low profile... All of a sudden the floor comes over and wants to talk to me. I proceed to sweat bullets. I'm so green that I didn't know there was a Royal Flush bonus and they come over to grab my name, and let me know they were going to check the cameras and come back with my bonus. I panicked and said I was my (of age) brother. A few tense minutes slowly tick by and the floor comes back, stands me up for the room to see and says "[not my name], congrats on the Royal Flush", shakes my hand and walks away.

The next week my brother was playing and some guy leans over to him and says, man some kid got a royal flush last week, couldn't have been a day over 19!

I laid low for a little while after that. :)

Once in real life playing NLHE where I flopped it. Only one other person in the hand. He has position on me, I check - he ships!

Hundreds of times, in high school and college.

Of course, we played a lot of 1492 -- seven stud, with aces, fours, nines, and deuces wild.

Why stop there? Make all the cards wild except the 7, the 8, and the jack, and then play with 3 decks.

I just realized that we've played Badugi pot limit before in Chicago where you repotted and then drew 4, so I retract my earlier post. You, sir, are a man of action.

Anyone know how we can get a message to Bergs that the cockroaches are jumping up and down on his keyboard again?

One online and maybe one live but i don't remember it very well so im thinking maybe, maybe not.

Ive hit a few strait flushes maybe 2 live for sure in plo and i think one or two online in holdem.

Hit steal wheel all the way to the six at DCS6 in PLO8. One of only like six hands i won all weekend not counting the Tournament.

I dont really count online stuff because i also hit quads 3 out of four hands in a row. Back to back quad Qs, brick then quads again. And thats why i will never play online for money.

I've got 3 live. And probably 3 or 4 online. Only one of the live ones was using both cards.

Most amazing thing I have seen live is when I flopped quads back to back hands. Both with pocket pairs. Quad 6s and then quad 9s on the flop. Don't know the odds of doing that but I am sure I will never see it again.

At least twice, once at the Beau Rivage, at least once, if not more at home games. I got nothing extra for them.

Got it three times in Pai Gow, this was the most recent last month at the MGM National Harbor

I pushed the hand, but won the fortune bonus and the minor jackpot bonus.

2 live, 1 online.
I can't recall if I've had one in Omaha, but I lost to one this past weekend. I've seen lots in Omaha, but don't recall getting one.

Only once and at a home game. Annoyingly everyone had folded around except me in bb and the sb who proceeded to check the flop and fold to my small turn raise.

I regret ever getting it, the ultimate disappointment.

Zero Royal Flushes. I have made three SFs, including a King high one.

I have ever only hit quads once and that was over this past weekend- rivered quad Aces with two in my hand. That won me a $1000 high hand promotion :D

I've never been dealt a royal flush.

I've seen three at my table, one of which I dealt at the Great Divide this year to @MatB. Thankfully I was dealing at that table and not playing.

I've had none But my daughter hit a straight flush to the King over the weekend in a no stakes game. Was very exciting to her - and she didn't tell it away when the hand was still live either

I've had 2 in NLHE and 2 in Omaha

The Omaha ones were great as they gave the other players great hands too. The Holdem ones were just pleasant :)

Two this year (one at a Meetup), but that has been nicely balanced by losing to both a royal and a king high SF within a half hour in Detroit.

I've hit one or two online. Never in person. Although I did lose to one at the Borgata. The board had paired aces in addition to the royale draw and the table got REALLY excited that I had quads but of course I did not. Only one ace. Called the villain really weak because he was twitching and shaking like a weirdo. At the time I was inexperienced and didn't understand what that kind of behaviours meant. That $250 is never coming back...
