Holy hell! I never knew this underground forum existed! I was big into poker years ago, and I figured I'd come here to get some advice/tips as I dip back in and eventually buy a full set (other than my horrible plastic dice chip set) Just got a 50 chip sample of Milano's, I'd love to try a ceramic set for a reasonable price, but quality chip. Any/all feedback is appreciated! Thanks everyone.

Your story, much like mine, seems to be the norm around here. A bunch of people who are revisiting their love of poker after some time away. Welcome and welcome back!

Welcome from Parsippany! Keep em coming, I love seeing more locals joining.

I have 1,000 Milano’s that I don’t have much use for if you ever decided to go in that direction. Feel free to PM me if you’re interested.

Welcome! There are lots of voices here to help with any thing you may need! I'm sure you will be told multiple times to try samples of everything! Ceramics are a great option, and there are multiple vendors within the forum that can offer some samples and set options. Best of luck on resuming your journey in poker land! (Oh and you may want to brace yourself for your first out of context entry)

Welcome fellow chipper... there are many good points here but an additional option is since you are in an area with many local members. You may want to consider attending a meetup, ask fellow members in your area if and when they have a game and if there is a possibility of an open seat. Most of us are more than happy to show you many options of different types of chips available, pricing, availability, break downs needed and so forth... the forum is an absolutely amazing place but joining in being active attend meet ups... the options are endless! Your maryland Neighbor fellow chipper Ben!!

Dafuq is going on with all these jersey folks joining lately? Welcome from NJTP exit 11 / GSP 132!

Check out @ABC Gifts and Awards for ceramics, IMHO they can't be beat for ceramics. They offer both customs and stock designs - search the forum for "dia de los muertos" for one of their most recent kick ass offerings, the design was done by a PCF member.

Thank you to all that have responded! I figured I’d just post in here instead of flooding the main forum boards. I am originally from Detroit, and I’m searching for just one barrel of Casino Jacks (any denomination) just to shuffle and play around with. I’m so new to this world and don’t have any intentions of building a $2000 full set! Just wondering if this deal on eBay is worth it? Any thoughts? Please help a noobie out!

Not a big markup but you'll find better deals on the forum here. Great bunch of people with a lot of knowledge.

Welcome aboard!
