New Plastic Cards on the Market Thread (1 Viewer)

You can only find them in bridge standard index for the public AFAIK

The jumbo index seem to be MOQ only, probably because baccarat is way more popular in the Chinese community compared to other game said Poker who used Jumbo index

Curious to see if anyone has any insight or dealing using Copag Poker Stars cards?

I have used other Copag cards, and I find that the color of the suits wear on those as well. I have used other brands such as Fournier EPT and Modiano Texas Hold'em that are decent cards.
I strongly prefer Fournier. I dont mind Copags but yeah, a solid back will show that wear even faster, just a worry.

I’ve used that deck. I think we got in an hour or two of play before some guy managed to spill the deck on the floor, somehow slice his finger open with one of the cards, and then bleed all over the stub on the floor. New deck!!

Rolled a new setup last night for Session 144. Bullets Playing Cards. A bridge-sized setup arrived at the game as Major Tom had reported would be the case.

We played them the entire session and despite the deck kicking me square in the head all night as payback for a $200 win last week, the cards played great. Stiff, but not too stiff. Shuffled well and popped right back into place. Rocking a slight texture on the backside of the card, they were not tacky and certainly not slippery.

The game is very lucky to have a player whose mission, aside from really keeping the table on its toes as of late, is to keep the game solidly decked and always reaching for a new set-up. Thanks Major Tom. Also thanks to Vegas, Sane Mike, DJP, and Justin Bieber, all who have dragged a setup into the game in one form or another.

The Bullets. Two separate cards boxes, housed to one central box.

Classic-like design especially with the Paint Cards.

Texture. Not super pronounced but enough to be noticed especially in how it contributes to the overall sturdiness and resilience of the card.

I’m told they’re comparable to Copag’s price wise. The addition of the Bullets to the stable gives us maybe 20 setups consisting mainly of versions of Copags, Kems, NTP’s, Faded Spade, and now the Bullets. I sense we’ll be on a bit of a mission to increase our holdings and be able to tout a deep and well-rounded selection.

Be good and run well.

Is it worth it, though? I ordered a setup from them over a month ago, got a confirmation number... and then nothing. Emailed them twice last week to politely ask for at least an update. Nothing. Start digging around here and find that apparently they have a reputation for this. Now I may have to ask what other people have done in this situation.
I ordered 48 decks ordered on Monday and arrived on the following Saturday.

It's very hit and miss. I've had quick deliveries, and I've had an order that arrived more than a month later. I placed an order on Feb 8th, and it still says pending. The one that was quick was missing one setup, which still says pending (partially shipped). When I called to ask about it, they said they didn't send it ot or charge me for it (which my credit card statement verified) but they couldn't explain why and that item is still available on the site. Who knows?

I didn’t realize Bullets came in bridge now. In my experience with poker size bullets, they are generally stiffer and thicker but not close to Copag quality in the same price range. They faded pretty quickly and generally seem like lower quality printing. But I like the feel.

The new davinci cards are really nice. They flex a lot more now. A solid upgrade from before! $15 shipped from them for a setup seems like $ to me. I am shocked at the upgrade in quality. The colors are deeper than the website displays. I think this is my go to recommendation for cheap but good for casual card games.

You think they changed? I haven’t bought davinci in a while, but I’ve always recommended them. And if they’re flexier now, I’d probably like them more. They were always pretty middle of the road flex-wise, like most modianos - not very flexy, but not too stiff.

Am interested in them. But markup on price for Australia on Amazon is getting worse. After accounting for exchange rate these cards are +80% cost before shipping added.

I bought a few setups last year and they felt rather stiff, now they feel more like slightly stiffer EPT Fournier or Bullets. If the printing holds up (big if?) then I'd say they're a deal for $15 shipped in the US. Note: it no longer comes with the plastic set tray or cut cards, so be aware!

I really like Davinci's courts.

Used my Davinci for <10 sessions, card prints are alr fading fast. Both on front and back

You mean the newly designed LUNA and VENEZIA or all the designs, even the older ones?

I wonder why they didn't make them in bridge/jumbo. Only the old RUOTE is available in that combo.

I am unsure what is old vs new but if I had to guess red on top is the new style and black on the bottom is old stock
