Phew. EP raises to 16k, we shove 70k with 66

He calls with :kc::jc:

Off to the races and flop is J62 with one of his suit. 3 turn he is drawing dead, we get the double!

Despite coming close and missing out, it was a nice change of pace from the PLO cash that has been pretty rough lately. Still suffered some sick hands in the tournament as well, but feel I played well and went deep and had a shot at that day 2.

Back at the PLO next week!

As always, it was an enjoyable ride-along. I have recently been re-evaluating my own game looking for leaks, and comparing how I would have played hands vs how you played them. It has been a fun exercise (it'll be weeks before I get to test out it's fruitfulness), but I may have found your leak...

You play like me!

You play like me!

I maybe could've raised to 15k UTG and gotten away from the 6's, and still been in with a stack that had fold equity

Probably the only thing I'd do different, besides not get 1 outered earlier lol

When you figure out how to dodge the 1-3 outers, write a book. Way more money in that than poker!

Looking back at yesterdays one-outer. There was 8k + 4500+4500, and then he had 12-14k remaining if I recall correctly

I had around 90k at that point starting the hand (with blinds at 500/1/1k) when avg stack was in the 70's

I win that hand and I chip up to 115-120k and bust a guy

Regardless, I outlasted him, he finished around 75th

My friend Nicole bagged 444k chips, putting her in 18th out of 52 returning players. She's good people to boot, hope she binks this one!

My friend Lee Tran (he doubled me up when he raised and then called my shove with :kc::jc:) managed to chop this evenly four ways for 28K each, he was listed as 2nd place based on chip counts in the final tally.

Now I just gotta get him to give it back in the PLO cash tables :p

I would change it to:

Welcome to the Nit Squad
We're no fun and games
If you've got no money honey
we're probably to blame!

I wanna watch your bankroll..........bleed

G-N-R is a little too aggro for the nit squad. Perhaps more like this...

Where it began, I can't begin to know when
But then I know I'm not losing much
Wasn't my hand
And my hand became the button
Who'd have believe you'd come along

Ace, touching Ace, reaching out
Touching me, Out Flopping you...

Sweeeeeet Flop of mine

First hand of note the pro is on the button and straddled to 20

Multiple callers, we call with :kh::qh::ts::tc:

He raises to 120, 3 players call, we call

Flop :8s::7d::2d:

We all check to him, he bets $620, no takers

The table has a few shortstacks, decent amount of players straddling to $20 but not many getting out of line

Seat opens in 2/2/5 and we take it

We limp in MP with :jc::ts::th::9h:

HJ raises to 25, button calls, SB makes it 75, we sigh-fold

Three callers

Flop :js::9s::6c:

Two guys get it in

Guy who made it 75 has :ks::kd::5d::2s:

Board runs out :2c::2h: and other guy doesn't show

Two players left and were replaced with some action players on short stacks

One guy raised UTG holding :ks::ts::7c::4c:

The other continually raises pre

YES! Finally won a couple decent pots back to back

We limp button with :kc::qc::9s::7h: and new player in SB juices it to 20, few callers

Flop :tc::7d::2c:

Original raiser bets 40, one caller, we call

Turn :7s:

Checked to me, we bet 75, original raiser calls

River :kd:

He checks, we fire 75 again, he folds

Next hand we are rock with :jd::9d::9s::4s:

He is next to act and pots to 25, bunch of callers, we call

Flop :9h::7h::2c:

Checked to me, I pot for 125, no takers
