My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (41 Viewers)

We are SB with :kc::qs::jh::td: and limp, MP raises to 25, multiway to a flop

:ad::kh::4d:

Checked around

Turn :th:

We pot for 130, two callers

River :9c:

We bet 150, no takers

We call a raise with 9887 ds and see a rainbow T83 flop from the BB

We pot, original raiser all-in for 280. He only goes once and has JTTx

We don't get there. Back to even

We're down about $150 when action player makes it 20, another guy tries to iso to 50

One caller, we call with :as::kc::5c::4s:

Original raiser calls

We start calling for a duece duece duece flop, it comes

:ts::3h::2s:

BINGO BANGO BONGO VINCE!

Checked to us, we pot for $205

Original raiser calls

Turn :qd:

We both check

River :ad:

I bet $125 but he folds

Little run good to start the session. We are dealt :kh::ks::jd::ts: and limp

Short stack who lost most of his stack the previous hand makes it 20

Two callers, we pot to 100, shorty all-in and one caller who has 150 behind

Flop :js::8h::6h:

I pot, he folds. All-in player wants to run twice

I make a third jack on the first board and hit a King on the 2nd board to crack his AAQ9

Very next hand we are dealt :ks::qc::qd::jd:

Mr $150 left pots in the HJ, the CO makes it $105, we lay it down

They get it in on an :ad::qh::2s: flop

Original raiser has AAXX. Reraiser has 7643??? Turn 5, river 7 and the straight wins, we breathe a sigh of relief as the reraiser had 1k

We are SB with :as::ac::7c::6s:

We limp, 6 ways to a flop

:qh::8c::6d:

BB bets pot of 30, two callers, we let it go
Guy shows down :kd::qd::jh::5h: by the end, he runner-runners the heart flush

I can feel Poker Jeezus smiling down on me

Bunch of limpers, we pot to $40 on the rock in the HJ with :ac::qc::qh::jd:

Multiple callers

Flop :qd::6s::3d:

We rip it in, two shorties call off, we go twice

Fill up on 1st board, 2nd board remain the nuts and we scoop

We limp the button with :ad::8d::5h::3h:

SB pots it, multiple callers

Flop :7s::6h::4s:

Checked to me, I pot for $150, only original raiser calls

Turn :8c:

He checks, my spidey senses are going off, I check behind

River :qc:

He bets $175

I think for a bit, eventually sigh-calling, he turns over

:ah::th::ts::9s:

I'd rather a spade on the turn, figured him for nut spade draw, not the gutshot

Here's why flopping the nuts is dangerous in PLO

I have no redraws and I'm actually a slight dog to his hand

A lot of other players might've stacked off on the turn trying to protect against what looks like just the ace-high flush draw, but momma didn't raise no fool!

We limp-call a $20 raise with :8c::8s::7s::6s:

Six ways and Flop is

:qc::8h::8d:

BINGO BANGO BONGO VINCE!

There's a minute on the clock for high hand which is quad Kings

We check, original raiser pots for $120

We just call

Turn :7h:

We both check

River :jh:

We shove and he is all-in for maybe $70 left, we scoop plus get our hand on the board. Need to hold for 30 minutes, and it's only $300, but hopefully we get it!

We limp :ad::8s::4d::3d: from the SB after a bunch of limpers

The rock who just doubled pots to 35, multiple callers, we call

Flop :qc::8h::4h:

We check, he pots for $175 with about $150 behind

Folds to us. I don't put him on a set here, most likely Aces with nfd

Since we block his Ace and don't block the flushes, I rip it with what I believe is the best hand

He calls off but only runs once

Turn :5h: ugh

River :qd: double ugh

He shows :ah::kh::tc::7s:

Le sigh, as we're looking up the odds we hear HIGH HAND called out with 7 minutes left on the clock, it's a straight flush to the 10 knocking our high hand off the board

We limp pot over the maniac on my lefts raise to $45, we're all-in for $205

THREE CALLERS

We have :ah::ts::9c::6h:

Flop :8s::8h::7s:

Lady shoves and gets called, I'm up against

T977 no suits
8544 one suit

Both called the $45 raise and my limp reraise

I make my straight but it's no good

She loses first board when 8544 hits quads, but her full holds 2nd board and they chop me up

Stuck 1k but game is good

Maniacs kept raising to between 25-40 each hand

I limp repotted double suited rundowns twice and lost both times to a fish who limped, called the initial raise and then my limp repot

He had J942 and I flopped fd and straight draw, he went runner-runner to make a wheel

Next hand he called with J962 and flopped 922 lol

Lost 1600, taking it in
