We are 4 handed and in the BB with the rock holding :js::jd::td::9c:

Four ways to a flop of :ks::jc::7d:

We pot and get repotted??? No way this particular player limped with Kings 4-handed so we repot

He has KJT9 and we go twice, 8 on both turns and we chop

We call a raise with :9s::8s::8c::5h: by the same player

Flop is :7d::6d::2s:

Three handed we check and he cbets 65. We consider a checkraise with the wrap but opt to see a safe turn first

Turn is :3c:

We check but he unfortunately checks behind

River :td:

We make our straight but the front door flush rolls in, we check, he fires 55 and we crying call, he has king-high diamonds

Then we call a raise from him again with :qh::jh::jd::7d:

Multiway to a flop of :as::jc::7s:

Checked around.

Turn :9h:

Checked to him, he fires 80, we are only caller

River :tc:

We check, he fires $235. We're contemplating. He shows us KK, but not the other two.

We have the blocker to the nuts, but this guy keeps getting there on us so we ultimately settle on a fold

He shows his side cards, a 42 lol.

So we made a bad call with our straight and a bad fold with our set

He's been caught a few times making big river bluffs on scare cards now

We are stuck 500 at the moment, not too bad

The current mega high hand is a straight flush to the 10 with 2 more hours left

We have :ks::ts::tc::7s: on the rock, call a raise multiway to a flop of

:qs::th::5h:

We check to original raiser, she bets 100, guy we can't beat calls.

We checkraise all-in

Shorty calls off, raiser calls off, guy we can't beat folds

Raiser only goes once

We cringe at the :ah: turn but neither of them has the flush or straight. A river :4d: and we scoop and get unstuck!

Are players at your table playing "normal" or are you finding more players nitting it up, hoping to hit the jackpots?

Players are finding reasons to call with and hand that might hit the mega high hand, even if they have shitty side cards

No crazy raises preflop, although the kid that valuetowned and then bluffed me is active and making moves

So overall most players are more loose-passive trying to hit flops

Did you find out what they did have? 2 pair/j9/bottom set types?
