So a question are you playing everyday or are you taking time off? Put yourself on a schedule? The idea of playing cards is fascinating and also not so much, I guess I like my job and what I do, I also like to play cards, but I dont enjoy being in casinos all the time, so doing it full time I would want to travel and play all over. I have been fortunate that my job allowed me to play all over the world, then covid hit and stuck at home now =/

I quit my job cause I was burnt out from overwork
Now I typically put in 25-40 hrs/week and have a work-life balance I was looking for
Jenns Galaxy S10 got borked during a recent update, so we snagged a BOGO on the new S21 Ultra 5G phones and have to pick those up today
Plus I've been playing D&D again and the session they had an open spot for is Saturday instead of Sunday
So I decided to take fri/sat off this week
Generally I always work Mon, Fri and Sat and then one other day maybe during the week, depending on how I feel, what events or promos are running, etc
But lately I've been working less and making more time for other activities and hobbies I enjoy

I have a very real understanding with me. I don't tell me how much I lost playing poker. I enjoy the game far more that way.
That said, when I first met Mrs Zombie I was making ends meet trading in the stock market. There is no way I could try to conceal the numbers, good day or bad day. Marriage (or at the time, just cohabitation) is a partnership. If you feel the need to hide things from your partner, you have real issues that may need to be addressed.
