My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (24 Viewers)

Just have to deal with cheating Cubans, moronic poker room managers, bad beats, and the constant reminder of impromptu stages being built in the parking lot for you to perform on when things go south!

Plus being blocked and unfriended on Facebook when you checkraise a lady, have two drunk dudes fighting over you at 1am and the mysterious wheel switcharoo
but other than that how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

Lots of guys stradling to 20, making it 100 after, etc

We go multiway in a straddled pot with :ad::js::9d::5h: from the blinds

Flop is :9s::9h::4c:

We bet pot of 125, somehow get THREE callers???

Turn :ks:

I check, next guy bets 200, two callers, I call

River :5s:

Checked around to last guy who bets 400, I call, one fold, other guy hems and haws, then calls

Bettor announces flush and I reveal my boat

Just curious. Did you not raise in fear of KKxx or bc you wanted that 3rd caller?

Looks like I didn't mention it in ths post, but the guy who bet $400 was all-in. The other players hadn't shown any strength except the guy who made a fairly weak bet on the turn and then checked the river, so I see any value in raising. I was surprised to see the other guy overcall the river, but I'm not complaining. I didn't get to see any of their hands at showdown, but was a very goofy hand the way it played out given board texture and so many players continuing post-flop.

There is always the possibility I run into a cooler where someone has a bigger full as well, and I only had experience with the guy who bet the turn (known donator) but hadn't played against the other two before.

One table running, 15 on the wait list. The lack of dealers continues. When they call a 2nd table I'll get a seat at least

You can't play at a property you deal at

Maybe at the Hard Rock, however I played with dealers in Tunica (Caesars) often and had one playing at my table then got in the box literally 10 minutes later at the Beau Rivage (MGM). It's definitely weird but I don't mind so much as I find the dealers aren't the best players or they would stop dealing....

Hell, in Carson City, the dealers were half the table. Not even a break, they just slide over when it's their turn to deal.

One of the best casino games I ever played in.

We flop top and bottom pair plus open ender on a two flush board. Getting ready to checkraise a short stacked maniac but after he bets a tight player raises and we have to fold as we are deep and OOP

We would've gotten lucky, turning our top pair to fill when he had middle set, but still the correct fold

Ooch. I call a raise to 30 on the button with :ac::ad::kh::5d:

Flop is :jh::4c::2d:

Original raiser bets pot, I call

Turn :6s:

He bets 250. I figure maybe he has the other aces and I'm freerolling with the wheel draw, so I rip, he calls, we go twice

He has :kc::qc::5s::3h: lol and raised OOP after limpers, then smashes the turn. I have a 5 in my hand and he raised pre, so it's near impossible to put him on that hand, he doubles through us :(

Clean chips. Very. It's a fat chance, but casinos need to keep doing this to their chips pandemic or not.
