Hi everyone, my name is Dennis. I live in Southern California and used to play poker with my dad a lot years and years ago. I would always research into what poker chips are the best and at the time I couldn't really afford to take the plunge.

But here we are years later with a new poker table, stable income, ready to make some purchases  :ROFLMAO:

I have a RHC chip set im slowly building from retired/rebranded casinos that I'm excited to share once completed.

Excited to see what everyone else here has and continues to do to inspire newbies like me.

Thanks and see you around!

Welcome Dennis! You made a great move jumping right into clays. Look forward to seeing your set when finished!

Hello and welcome. Don’t wait till the set is finished…share the progress!!!!!

Hi all thanks for the warm welcoming! I will definitely share progress pics, I have some chips in transit right now. Where would be the best place to post those at?

Right on this thread for all to see...or start a new thread.

Guess what came in the mail today!

I am essentially building 2 sets, a .10/.20 and a .25/.50 so that's reasoning for different colors. I have the purple $500 UB's coming in the mail soon but had to get a photo because this whole lot just got here.

I am actually a freelance photographer that runs my own business, so I brought out the flashes and macro lens to get some detail shots as well.

Now, the real question is should I get overlay labels from gear or take out the inlays and replace? Is it hard to do so? Been trying to research a little.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the shots! (sorry if the white balance is a little off, dealing with different light sources in my office as well as my flash)

Looking nice

Kind of worried these $5 I chose share a lot of greens with other chips. Am I overthinking it? The $1 and $5 definitely share one very similar spot color. Also returned the Jumers. Beautiful chips, but I am getting another rack of the UB 25's and 100's and using those as my workhorses. I'm all over the place right now  :ROFLMAO:

I think it still looks great, its red enough so that the greens dont dominate that chip color. It's a good combo. But would look great with a rack of whites  :ROFLMAO:
