We have received some chips from Lake Elsinore Casino. They also included a few chips from the Sahara Dunes. This is going to be different from a normal Chip Room sale. There are some denominations that are pretty rare and are going to auctioned off 1st. There were a very limited number of new chips that will auctioned off as well. Some of the chips have a brown soot on them that can be fairly easily cleaned off with a magic eraser. We will have a normal Chip Room sale on the remaining chips, after the other have been auctioned off. Before anyone asks, there are no secondary chips in this set. I will start posting auctions on the chips later this week.

Here is a little preview. Forgot to include the $3 Pink chip (RHC)

Stay Tuned....Jim

Also, will there be $5 chips offered?

May I just say I'm not a big fan of moving these sales more and more to auctions.
I mean it's cool that a few big players dominate the chip market and fill their warehouses more and more....
But the TCR sales used to level the playing field. Even the not as fortunate blue collar guys could score some great clay.

Are those times coming to an end?

Hey Jim, are the “new” chips mentioned in the OP mint? I’ve only seen worn/used chips on the tables there.

There are a few racks of new $1s, $2s and Sahara Dunes $5. They have the soot on them but clean up nicely

I'm neutral on the auctioning off of certain chips, especially if they're in limited supply.

I just hope the ending times, much like the standard Chip Room sales, are at a Euro-friendly hour so us Euro-chippers don't have to wake up at 2am... ;)

This will be a 1 off. I don't foresee doing this in the future, except for maybe the 1 or 2 rare denominations.

Always loved these chips….too bad auction will kill that ability!
