Many thanks to @Tommy for his help loading and unloading the awesome 32-inch casino roulette wheel he sold me today. It's made by T.S. John Huxley for Paulson, and weighs enough that we'll both be breaking out the Motrin tonight.

Im not asking what you paid but what is that worth ballpark?
Are all single zeroes known as European, or does 'European' refer to the sequence of numbers?
Both, really. Single-zero wheels are also called European. Double-zero, American.
Each types has a different number sequence or order of numbers, but the sequence will be the same on every single-zero wheel or every double-zero wheel.
I've heard there a casinos using a "triple zero" on their wheels. I've never seen one.
Nice wheel Dennis!
Fun personal story: in my 25 years of playing poker and going to casinos I have only ever gambled once on any other game than poker. It was 20 years ago at the Taj in AC at ~3am and my buddy and I were both up on poker winnings and he convinced me to hit the floor with him. We walked up to an empty $20 min roulette table and I cashed in $20. I didn’t realize that you could spread those chips around so I just put the whole stack on 22 black. It was the only bet on the table. She spun and I hit. I grabbed the ~$700 chips and cashed out. In my excitement I totally forgot to tip the dealer. I haven't gambled in 20 years since because I know karma is going to hit me hard for not tipping that dealer. Plus I can say my lifetime gambling win rate is 3500%!
Awesome! The 22 bet is legendary from the old movie, "Casablanca," of course. One of my favorite scenes in the film.
You probably remember the scene.Ohh I didn’t realize that. It’s my birth date. I need to rewatch Casablanca now!
Well, Wynn couldn‘t withstand either, at least since april there‘s triple zero as well. 12 strip casinos added triple zero so far. Basically the same as with 6:5 BlackJack, one starts and all others follow.Basically, Wynn and Casino Royale are the only properties that aren't visibly considering pushing the house edge from 5.26% to 7.69%.
CTO.or even offer live remote roulette.
If you've already got the flat screen on the wall in your poker room, you throw a 6' or 8' table in front of it. Get a layout and chips. (We could send those to you.) Rather than ship or drive 200 pounds of wheel to your house, we spin the wheel live via video online to your device, mirrored to the flat screen.
You would just need someone to act as croupier.

But then they are whining about decline of gaming revenue...
You probably remember the scene.
A young woman approaches Rick. Her husband (of 8 weeks) is trying to win enough at roulette to buy an exit visa, but is losing. She asks Rick if Captain Renault is a man of his word. They very tactfully dance around the question of sleeping with Renault for the exit visa.
Rick then goes to the Roulette table. He sees the husband, down to his last few chips, who is about to give up.
He leans into the player, "Have you tried 22 tonight?", then his eyes shift to the dealer while still appearing to talk to the player "I said 22."
22 Black hits.
The man smiles as he pulls in his winnings.
"Leave it there", says Rick, without emotion.
22 Black again.
"Cash it in, and don't come back."
The only roulette story I have is from Metropolis Illinois about 14 years ago. Went there with friend from work and his wife and my wife. Me and my buddy went to play Black Jack. After a couple hours the ladies come running over to us telling us we have to come see something after that hand.
So we walk over to the roulette table. No one in sight but the dealer (spinner?) They get out some chips and put them on random numbers. Me and my buddy are watching as the dealer starts the wheel. The girls are just giddy with anticipation. The dealer drops the ball, watches the wheel for a bit and looks at me and my buddy and says "18"...well you guessed it, when the ball came to a rest it was on 18. I looked at my buddy and back to the dealer and said "BS do it again" so again the girls bet, this time I bet putting a $5 bet on 12. Dealer goes through the same process. Looks us dead in the eyes and says 24....ball lands on 24. I tell the girls we are done here, he proceeded to tell us he'd been doing this so long he could look at the wheel and tell where the ball would land 9 times out of 10.
At this point I couldn't even wrap my mind around how horrible this is if true and how easy it would be to sham people. The girls talked about how they kept hitting their numbers...being the only 2 at the table.
Now being the guy that I am, I just figured this guy is dealing roulette with 2 nicely dressed ladies who are drinking and appear to be alone...this guy was trying to score...and hopefully get a double dip!
Anyway, I've never been able to verify if something like this was even possible or if this guy was just full of shit. Either way the girls spent the rest of the night with us at the Black Jack tables lol.
Well one of them is my wife...and maybe I'm partial but she's an attractive woman. The other was my buddies now Ex wife...and she was...what's a PC way of putting this....Pics of the women would really bring this story home...
I'm seeing Petra, sipping on a cocktail straw... How far off am I?

She was wearing a very revealing outfit let's just say.
She wasn't my type...and wasn't that nice...kinda crazy imo.Describing the same woman..
Woman: She's a nice person, BUT she's kind of a slut.
Man: She's a nice person, AND she's kind of a slut.

-EV on the bankroll, however. But if you met your wife at that table and you are still together, you were pretty lucky, too.
