How do your cards last after a session of baccarat?? We go through like 5 setups.. Damn asian gamblers peeling their cards!!If you are dealing from a shoe (blackjack, baccarat), Copags are fantastic. I do not have any damage from wear.
Never tried the same with Kems. Much more expensive.
Ironically this is the thing I love most about Copags and I wish there were more brands that used thicker font like Copag does.I don't like Copag faces and font (second ugliest next to Gemaco) but great thing about them is that you can buy them anywhere
I am very picky and have particular taste.Ironically this is the thing I love most about Copags and I wish there were more brands that used thicker font like Copag does.
I love Copags all around and really am hoping someone can enlighten me and tell me there is some other brand out there that designs their cards the same way.I am very picky and have particular taste.
Don"t like Copag font and faces, Gemaco ink and faces, Fournier pips (especially clubs) and security ink in general...
If I would vote best cards of 2022 I would say WSOP Fourniers are the best, not in jumbo index but wonderful anyway. Fournier stock, Bicycle faces and great price you can get them.
Haven't tested Faded Spades 3.0 but love design.
For me top cards so far are :
1.KEM Circle Casino
2.Modiano Platinium
3.Fournier WSOP edition
and special mention of KEM WPT....they are kind od tricky as there are lot of graphics in internet showing them with jumbo index, and that never happend
2012 FourniersI love Copags all around and really am hoping someone can enlighten me and tell me there is some other brand out there that designs their cards the same way.
However, as I have tested more cards I HAVE become more partial to cards of higher thickness. Digging Faded Spades and especially Desjgn as of late.
Some Fournier stock I am also fond of. Which ones specifically are you referring to?
This remark surprised me. Are we aware of different Fournier plastic stocks? I guess I haven’t handled different ones, but now that I think of it most Fourniers I’ve handled have been Congress. Some Fournier stock I am also fond of.
I see difference between "Congress" (2826) and Titanium (2800).This remark surprised me. Are we aware of different Fournier plastic stocks? I guess I haven’t handled different ones, but now that I think of it most Fourniers I’ve handled have been Congress.
OK, wanted to make sure. Yes, I have the former and they have become one of my favorite setups to use. Fantastic cards and definitely my favorite WSOP setup to use.
I have both of the setups pictured and maybe it's just my imagination but they feel different to me.This remark surprised me. Are we aware of different Fournier plastic stocks? I guess I haven’t handled different ones, but now that I think of it most Fourniers I’ve handled have been Congress.
that is possible, WSOP cards are kind of special edition so there is no telling what the differences are.I have both of the setups pictured and maybe it's just my imagination but they feel different to me.
anyway if you look at value per $ spent there is no beating themI have both of the setups pictured and maybe it's just my imagination but they feel different to me.
From my personal experience, I've liked KEM better. I do like Copag cards, however, the longevity of the cards isn't that great. I do have an issue with KEMS, though. They tend to warp and bend over time by just sitting in the box.Do you prefer KEM or Copag? I’ve used both and I feel like the Copag hold up better. Thoughts?

Also, I may have left my KEM cards in the 110F Nevada heat last summer which completely destroyed them... oops.
yes.... exactly! hahahahlooking like shattered mirror?
I call that Curse of the Snow Queenyes.... exactly! hahahah
I guess people prefer the "feel" of Kem. I dunno, can't relate. No amount of "feel" is gonna make me pay more for cards that are likely to not last very long. Copag all the way for me.So my first deck of non- Bicycle paper cards are copag bridge size. I really liked them, being my first set of plastic playing cards. I decided to order a set of KEM bridge size playing cards on Amazon for $35 just to see for myself (also noticed that’s what they were using at MGM Springfield where my home game players play).
My first experience was that they felt much softer than the Copags, but was concerned over all the Warp issues people say they have. Today while I was playing with them, I noticed that they have a pronounce warp when dealt out on the table, not so much that you can see underneath, but do not lay as flat as the copags.
I do like the way the KEMs shuffle over the Copags, but think the Copags may be better to play with, gonna let my players in the next home game decide. We play with two decks and I’m gonna do one of each, to see what people prefer.
Might even start diving in to poker sized cards, I have big hands and maybe will prefer those over the bridge size.
I agree with you 100%. I just had to see what the hype was about, and hosting is a relatively new hobby of mine, and like most things I do, I go way deeper than necessary. I’ll report back what my players think, but my guys telling me Copags right now.I guess people prefer the "feel" of Kem. I dunno, can't relate. No amount of "feel" is gonna make me pay more for cards that are likely to not last very long. Copag all the way for me.
Love the cards, love the chips, love the stakes. That’s pretty awesome, did you get them used or did you get to crack the seal on them. Idk which would be cooler, the amount of games played with cards that old, or getting to open a pack that old to play with. It’s the little things that make the home poker night awesome !Using these KEMs tonight. They were made in 1954. Couldn’t even tell you how many games they’ve been used in and the countless hours of playtime. They’re still in unbelievably excellent condition.

I’m old, but not that old! Bought them used. I’m often leery of buying used, but I have done it numerous times for older KEM decks that are a little more difficult to come by.Love the cards, love the chips, love the stakes. Sorry didn’t mean to say you were old ! Meant like peeling open used, but factory sealed cards you bought more recently haha !I’m old, but not that old! Bought them used. No offense taken. I was just playing around, as I’m guessing I’m way in the top half of the age category around here!Sorry didn’t mean to say you were old ! Meant like peeling open used, but factory sealed cards you bought more recently haha !
I see people mention fournier and i wanted to try them but there were a lot of options. Which specific ones would you recommend?Kem or Copag .......... Is neither an option here? Fournier is the best
