Spring time? Oh that is almost at an end here. It was briefly 100 degrees yesterday, here in the middle of no where Texas. Sunday should be a lot cooler but still shorts and swimming pool weather.

I don't know that I have seen a foot of snow cumulatively throughout my entire life. None of my children have ever seen true snow while living here in Texas - just sleet, hail and freezing rain. God knows we shouldn't be allowed to drive in such conditions. I can't even imagine what it would be like to have snow for months at a time.

I'm really surprised the power hasn't gone out today, with all this wet snow on leafed-out trees. I had two small branches broken off my maple tree when I left this morning. All the power lines are above ground in the area of town around my office.

We were in Denver for my son's graduation this week and flew out yesterday (Thursday) morning just as it was starting to come down. Landed in Richmond VA....89 degrees
