Has anyone else ordered these chips? I ordered them from Casino Supply. I believe Casino Supply had these made exclusively for them as I have not seem then on any of the other retail sites. I ordered a 500 set for cash. I really like the design as the "imperial" with the twinkling stars really give the chips a classic nostalgic feel. The colors are amazingly bright and vibrant. The $25 chips are really stunning. My biggest complaint is the color choice for the $1 and $5 chips. They have rather large pips that take up quite a bit of the chip edge. Both chips utulize red and white so its easy to have dirty stacks as I showed in the photos. These seem to be an ABS plastic with a metal slug insert but I am not certain. Let me know your thoughts on these and if you have any further knowledge on them.

I love this set of chips myself. The edges are nice a smooth, unlike some chips, and the weight is nice. I also got a set of 500, but I have 100 and 500 and it looks your set doesn't. Anyway, this is an ABS chip with a metal slug inside, but it's still a good chip in my opinion.

I bought these before I signed up to this site… I hope I don’t regret this cheap set (at least it wasn’t too expensive).

Hahaha but from it looks like, people aren’t really playing with the nice sets. They keep them pristine. I could just use the crap out of these

Of course we are. Some just have so many sets to rotate through that they only get play once every 2 years.

There is a group of people who are more into collecting and don’t have the opportunity to use them as much

& also another large group of people here, they owned so many sets that by rotating the sets, each only get use 2-3 time per year

For me, when I use to host weekly poker. I have 3 workhorse sets where I tend to mostly rotate among them and occasionally swap in my other sets depending on stake / and special occasion

I’m not sure if this is the best place to bring up another question, but my friend’s wife bought him a kith poker set (they like kith).

I took a look and at first glance thought it was just a labeled dice chip, that they overpaid for… but it says it’s clay (though I doubt it’s a real clay chip or one like the CPCs).

I don’t think this is the exact one because I think she spent $600, but does anyone know anything about these?

Absolutely not clay. CPC is literally the ONLY manufacturer making real compressed clay poker chips for the home retail market.

Look chinese fake 'mastui' plastic slugger, they worth about 10c each so about $40.

The Storage box does look like it make of higher Quality, worth around $100

I remember briefly considering these when I was looking for a tourney set before I found PCF. I was thinking about relabeling the 1 as 1000 for a base T5.

If you like these, then consider the Tina Greek mold hybrids. They also have a greek key mold (better executed imo) and you can customize the spot patterns to your liking. And I think they have Stardust inspired labels already designed or you can make your own. Tina ceramic is better quality than ABS slugs for about the same price.

I appreciate the info, I've been eyeing the empress star chips, so maybe the big top is the closest in greek hybrids... but I will wait and see how my set looks when it arrives tomorrow :)

I actually like these chips more than I thought I would. They aren't too slippery (can shuffle well with them and I can flip chips over the top of them), the edges are pretty smooth (some have slight scuffs).
However, they are pretty heavy, I think too heavy. But for the price, I think I'll use these for a while for low stakes tournaments or whatever until I can make some more money to afford the nice sets. Or maybe I'll get some CPCs. My uncle has some vintage chips too so I might have to snag those :)
