Backstory: On our first day of class, my professor had us all introduce ourselves and give a fun fact about us. Of course my fun fact was that I enjoy collecting poker chips. During the 1st break, this young lady walks up to me and says, “I’ve been to Monte Carlo and I left with a chip. I’ll bring it to you next week.” Fast forward to today, and she brings me the chip in the picture. Mind you my immediate response is gratitude as I thank her for contributing to my collection. I offer to give her something in exchange to which she refuses as she is just happy to tribute to my collection (there are actually a ton of good people in this world).
My question is, can someone please give me some history on this chip. I know nothing about it, but I’m very happy to have it. I’m going to make a card capper out of it and hold on to it. Does anyone know if it’s rare? Still live? Does it hold any value? No, I’m not selling it, but I am curious. Anything you could share would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.
