At our last 1/1 game we only put three denoms to work - although I could have thrown out a few $100 chips to a couple of the players. Hard to get them working when we generally have buy-ins of only $100.

We go the more denoms the better. Our game is 25 /50 cent and we start out with 25,50,1.00,2.00and 5,00. As the evening progresses we introduce 10.00 and 25.00 chips.

As long as it works for you and your group. It would drive me absolutely bonkers having all those denoms on the table at the same time.

I used to play at a .25/.50 game that used both .25 and .50 chips - drove me nuts!
