I was talking with my co-host and he thought we should have 2 100/200 levels. One without the BB ante and one with. So we added that round and dropped 25/50.

I do agree with ante structures it's good to repeat the blinds on the first ante level. Otherwise it's a huge increase in the preflop pot size. Also eliminating 25-50 gets you out of that early double.

Sounds like he solved two issues with those suggestions .

The next big poker book should be an expose on the WSOP, how it started, what it meant, what it means now, the directors and decisions that shaped it to be the monstrosity that it is today.

The WSOP is now just another excuse for degenerates to take a trip to Vegas. They have something for every budget now. I've never played an event, will probably do a $1000 some day. Since I'm about a 4 hour drive, many of my players have played events.
