Hi,

I'm willing to make my garden city chips playable on sng or freeze out.

Thanks to p5woody who's doing great with those vey nice mockups.

Mockup #01

Mockup #02

As I change my mind twice a day, I need your help guys.

The Hawai flower roulette chip would make a various molds set (thc : $25, rhc : $100 chip, ihc : $500 $1000) and the condition is near to the $100 chip (good condition).

The UB chip is near mint and would make a classic $25 chip and I like the arc yellow spot.

The Terribles chip, mint, could alos be a solution...

What do you think ?

And could some one gives us the exact size for a THC label and for RHC label please ?
I intend to order the laminated vinyls with Joe at PGI soon.

Thanks

Don

I like the UB chip as Arc yellow spots are some of my fav, but im not sure that it goes with the set. The colors of the other chips are more muted, so the first chip is best of what you show here IMO.

To be honest, the solid is a little close in colour to the $500 chip, at least to my eyes. It just looks like a lighter shade of the same chip. I'm wondering how easy they would be to distinguish in a pot. While I'm normally partial to solids, the middle row works best to my eye.

I'm confused, or maybe I missed something... Why not just use real Garden City Casino $20 chips rather than re-labeling other chips???

thanks for the answers, I'll post soon pictures of stacks,
Tim, the $20s chips are used, when others are in much better condition.

If condition of the chips is more important to you than originality, here are some other ideas you might want to consider for your re-labeled chips:

What about sticking with the California color scheme and denominations of the Garden City line?

You could re-label some other casino black $100 chips to become your GC $20 chips. Relatively inexpensive RHC black hundos in very nice shape include Par-A-Dice, Aztar primary, and Aztar secondary, to name a few.

If you don't limit yourself to RHCs (you already considered the Hawaiian flower grey SCV), you could re-label some new or nearly new Paulson fantasy hundos like the Nationals, World TH&C, or Classics (the Classics hundos might match your GC chips the best).

It wouldn't be very cost effective, but what I would absolutely LOVE to see you do would be to re-label some Terrible's hundos to become Garden City $20s! THAT would rock!!! =)

well,
the par-a-dice hundo could fit, that's true,
The Paulson homes series won't do, imo, due to the mold (classic or suit).
Last, if I could afford some Terribles, the st Joe frontier would be my choice, especially the secondary with grey and pink spot,
But I must admit that I don't want to go with new spends on that set, except the labels themselves of course,
That's why I'm doing this poll with these chips, that I have for sell since many months !

Nico, in that case, I would vote for the red Terrible's $5 chips.

The irony of seeing some Terrible's chips re-labeled as GCs would be absolutely priceless! :D

Relabel Terribles? On TCF...err...PCF?!?

Why do I sense Tommy or Mr. Cheese are searching for..

(Just kidding. They wouldn't do anything if someone defaced a Terrible chip...would they?)

Lol. Before I got the Blue Chip quarters, I thought about making the Terrible's .50 chip a .25 chip but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Sent from my Galaxy Note 3.

OK, class... please take your seats.

Thank you.

Today, class, we're going to learn a new word. Can you say, DOUBLE STANDARD?

the Terribles still ahead, but Tim's right, I don't want to risk the ban for labelling some TomRribles !!!
Let's see if we got more votes on par-a-dice or UB chips than I can get myself out of this ambush :)

LOL, you guys crack me up.

here they are :)

a big thanks to p5woody,
and to Joe (PGI) for the extra dealer too !

The set can be played in cash game NL50
or in tourney (T2000) with $5 $25 $100 $500 & $1000 chips.
