Regarding poker chairs, what do we think is the best option around $50 or less and readily available (so, not used Gassers, which I don't feel like waiting around for)?

I currently have armless task chairs, which are alright except they take up too much of my limited floor space. (That is the case for any chair with a 5-legged base.) Also swivel/tilt is a little bit annoying.

Seems like stacking banquet chairs are the way (example: https://www.bizchair.com/FD-BHF-1-GG.html ) but do people find them comfortable enough for 4 or 5 hour sessions?

How many are you needing. I have banquet chairs I got from a Marriott that work fine. They are padded pretty good. I have a friend that bought banquet chairs on FB and I have to take a seat cushion with me, they aren’t very comfy.

I have a couple “church chairs” and they are pretty comfy. I see them all the time on FB Marketplace. I believe @Seeking Alpha Social Club did a review on them at one time. Just looking at my local FB, these are listed for around $13 a chair. I’m sure you would have some local to you.

I've sat on the Rio and current Horseshoe banquet chairs for 12 hour WSOP sessions and they're fine. Those are probably 20-40 years old! The seats in the pic above look like they're a step above those judging by their appearance alone. FYI I'm 5'10" and weigh 195 lbs. YMMV
