Getting started tip for Adobe Illustrator (1 Viewer)

Just pulled the trigger with AI so i can get started designing an inlay for the very anticipated Greek Molds that are coming out from @justincarothers ... anyone have any •REALLY• basic tips for getting started with AI? At this point all i'm trying to do is create simple circular 24mm diameter white-background inlays.

Check YouTube and you'll find individuals who have done a 20-30 Illustrator lessons that will give you the basics.

Here’s one you will use often with inlay design…text on a curve. It’s often done improperly, but this video shows how to get it right.
