Bought one of these stainless steel CNC'd card toppers and love it. its heavy and rugged and I get lots of compliments. The leather case if worth getting to hold it.
Big Fan.
(i have no affiliation and I am just a happy customer passing along a great product.)

I know there have been threads about these before. I remember someone commenting they'd be worried about these denting cards due to their size and weight.

As for the $60 loss, I feel like a similar thing could be accomplished with a silver bar -- possibly even adding more prestige to the capper with the added benefit of not being a guaranteed $60 money sink.

I agree with OP that they look very nice, but I'll stick to using a nice single chip.

to me it is. i am a mechanical guy so the material and process are cool to me. I also like the weight and have not seen any issue with "denting" cards.
Funny about the cost comments for what we pay for chips and gamble in poker, that cracks me up.
another note is that everyone has chips and coins that they use. Its a personal pref thing. I wanted to be diff and I have had enough people smile when they show interest and I hand it to them to feel the weight its obvious there is interest.

Hand crafted? That I'd like to see...

I think they’re cool. I spent a little more than that for WSOP 500k/ 1,000,000 cappers. I think if they had a few more options or customization I’d be interested. My favorite hand is A9 suited, maybe they could set it up for different holdings.

I get why the cost perception is high, but if this is low volume and CNC milled /deburred in the US, with some markup then it’s not going to be $20 or $30 and I wouldn’t mind paying it.

Alternatively go to Tina ;)

I see you are in PA so I'm sure you have built a few bird houses. Setting up a CNC machine, programing, fixturing, post processing to this high quality IS hand crafted with skills that are harder and harder to find. (Que the national anthem!)

Everything you think doesn't have to go on the internet.

Also, updoot for their gallery using proper chips vs dice like 98% of poker sites:

Just saying that once the design is dialed in, it's just manufacturing. Not that that isn't worth something. Human designed and programmed not "hand" crafted.
