That, and the fact that he said he had quads the second he flipped them?If he wasn't such a bad player and kept giving action, they would not tolerate his antics one bit. The guy with eights full sure took it well, guess it helped that Kassouf was short stacked at the time so the hand isn't too damaging.
This.Just more proof that he is the biggest a$$hole in poker. It would be less than a minute from when I sat down to where i would uncontrollable blurt out "shut the f up and play!". Of course he won't so I move to another table.
Two problems with this. First, if you immediately call clock they won't enforce it. Second, once he knows without question that he's gotten to you he will likely start delaying every move, including preflop folds, just to further get under your skin.If I was at the table with him, the moment he opened his mouth, I'd call clock.
Second one was actually the last night of a meetup where a jackass local I'd been stuck with pretty much all day through tourney and cash finally pushed me over the edge... that time simply leaving early at 10pm without a word about it seemed like the best play.
Dammit. Bridesmaided yet again. To this day that guy is still the biggest dick I've ever played cards with.
And for whatever it's worth, kassouf got slowrolled on this one and was a good sport about it.

Heyyyy, was this at DCS? PM me a name if so. Unless it's me.
I agree with this. I'm fine with his antics in this hand, in this cash game, it's humorous. And after Kassouf gets raised, he insta-says he's slow rolling. But I'm not sure if it even qualifies as a slow roll when the guy is announcing his intentions to slow roll you for like 5 minutes.
I recall hearing on the 2+2 Pokercast podcast in the past few weeks, that somebody who called in or emailed thought Kassouf really couldn't be that bad as they made him out to be on TV, until he actually ended up being seated at the same table at a tournament, and that changed his mind.I don't understand the depth of the hostility toward Kassouf. Yeah he's obnoxious and annoying, but that doesn't exactly make him unique amount poker players.
And if Helmuth and Matusow are capable of sitting at the table and playing civilly with him, what makes so many people here think they couldn't handle it?
Is it possible we've just seen highlights of the worst of the worst, and that he's actually unobtrusive the majority of the time?
