Will CPC ever come out with triangular edge spots like Paulsons? Been dying to create some designs with those

Trimoon is as close as we’ll get, and some of them have a semi-triangular shape.

There are a lot of good conversations on this topic if you want to dig into it and search.

Not likely.

In the 6 years I've been here, CPC has released:
- 2 new molds: lcrown, scrown
- 1 new spot pattern: tri moon
- 0 new colors

From what I remember of Dave's posts, they are pretty much at their production cap and at a minimum of profit so they don't generally want to bother with experimentation and/or research. Someone correct me if I'm wrong there.

Yep. V-spots won't stay put in the prefab slugs.

They could probably glue them in place (at extra cost and labor expense), but then we'd be bitching about the heated/smeared glue residue on finished chips.
