TL;DR here, context below.

Using these chips for a cash set, what would you do? $1 and $5 are a must. All my games currently use a 25¢ so could do 25¢/$1/$5/$25 or similar but most flexible is probs $1, $5, $25 and then a non denom.

I think this order is the best fit for the colors with the above. White base $1 and butterscotch $5 seem obvious, so what about the other two?

Context:

CPC announced their sale at the same time my alma mater announced it was selling its campus so I put together a set around several aesthetic themes from the campus. More to be revealed when the set is finally done but the idea was for a high stakes tournament set, hence the colors. I’m considering trimming down my collection by selling my cash sets and making these cash cause these and the Taylor Swift set are 100% keepers but they overlap.

are these chips you have already and are there quantity limits to be aware of?

if i was working only with these colours, i'd go grey frac, butterscotch $1, lavender $5 and white $25.

I know you haven't asked this but i'd switch the grey base if i had a choice to switch the colours up more, but that's overstepping the remit as you said the colours were specific to your campus :)

Already have.

300 butterscotch
320 lavender
340 grey
340 white

I like the way you have them in the photo, lav 25c, white $1, butterscotch $5, grey $25. (or $20?) In a 25/50 game, this gives a lot of contrast between your $1 and $5, the two workhorse chips. With the $5 being a pretty non-traditional color, I don't think it makes a huge difference which way you go. Assuming you're going to mill them and get labels. I personally like the grey better as a $20 instead of a $25.

Agreed: RL 25¢, White, Scotch, Gray $20.

Thanks yall. Now to think about breakdown a bit. My rancho set has been very solid at 200/200/200/60 $25¢-$20 so I’m sure I’ll be fine at the quantities I have for a one table game but if this ends up my only cash set I’ll want it to cover two deep tables so probably need to do an addon when CPC is up and running again

I agree with this
