I think A-mold and HHR produce continuously, or nearly so. Order either of those and you won't ever have much of a wait.

Is anyone out there looking to do any 44mm scrolls soon? I am, but a couple more orders are needed to get it installed and into production.

@Ben , I am going to be ordering some 44mm scrolls soon, I will probably get those before the CSQ im ordering..

Anyone know the status of the A-mold 44mm? I know it was having some issues back in 2014 but is that one dead?

HHR rotates in and out same as any other. From what I've seen it rotates in every 4-5 months normally.

I'm wondering about plain, un-spotted, un-labeled chips. Is it still the same 100 of each 300 total minimum?

Because all real clay chips are made by a very labor intensive process we require a minimum of 300 chips. Within a 300 chip set you can have up to 3 unique chips. In a 400 chip set up to 4, and in a 500 up to 5 etc.

300 chips just to start. Up to 3 unique chips (with the minimum order). My order had just 10 of one chip, 40 of another, and 250 of yet others.

I'm contemplating going with the CSQ mold for my new set. I have a sample of them and noticed a few flatness issues/spinners. Does anyone know if this is common with this mold?

I have 2,000 Rounders on the CSQ and not even a hint of spinners... Same can be said about all of my DIASQR and B-Diamonds...

i have some spinners in my horseheads from the ASM days. I never expected that to be completely resolved since the casino I work had ASMs at the time w/ occasional spinners & ASM provided extras to compensate for the few, odd imperfect chips

do people really expect chips completely free of spinners? does CPC actually provide that?

6700 ASM/CPC customs on HHR, md-50, elephant & crown, and No Mold; can't recall any spinner .

5500 (some gone but not forgotten) ASM/CPCs on HHR, E&C, H, Hourglass, and Smooth Plain mold and no spinners here either.

What is 'spinner'?

It's a chip that is very slightly misshapen and insufficiently flat such that it can "spin" when on top of a stack of chips.

I have a few spinners on my Three Putt Poker $1's (A-mold). The inlays appear to have a small "air bubble" under them (you can here a slight "clicking/sticking" sound when you press on it). It hasn't caused any issues to date :)

My customs on the roman mold had quite a few spinners. My H-mold customs did as well but not to the same extent.

While I have lots of inlay problems with select denominations and some sloppy spots on Chateau de Noix, not a single spinner. And my chips were from the Vegas era. (FDL mold)

None of my older ASM chips on the HHR had any spinners either.

Awaiting CSQ set this Spring/Summer but am confident in CPC. I wouldn't worry about spinners.

Thanks for the replys. I don't mind if it's a few chips...they can be used as backups. But based on my limited selection of chips on hand I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem pertaining to that particular mold.

About how many were spinners, if you don't mind me asking (A Mold). Were enough extra chips included to make up for the spinners?

Maybe a handful-ish out of the 600? I don't have an exact count. I'm sure I have enough extras to make up for them but to be honest I haven't swapped any of them out.

Extras were included (in my experience, ASM generally included more extras than CPC) but most have gone out to folks as samples.

I have had over time 3,000 ASM/CPC A-mold and HHR with no spinners

I ordered 2400 CSQ for the Rounders group buy and I didn't notice any spinners when I was sorting through them all. My current CPC order is on the CSQ as well. Is it July yet?!?

i'm wondering if quality control isn't better now than when i bought my ASMs? got mine in Sept of '06

I'd like to think this is true, but I have little evidence other than recent CPC pr0n. None seem to show visible defects, eg. some older ASM would have a groove around the edge like some BCC I've seen. Also, I haven't seen the occasional line of base color running through the edge spots like has been present in the past. I'm too lazy to find pics of what I'm describing. Hopefully my explanation is understandable and hopefully recent CPC chips are free from these as well as spinners.

I have 1000 horsehead molds from 2014. no spinners, a few have some visual issues: clay on the inlay, but I was provided spares to replace those. I think CPC usually just throws in all the lower quality ones for free and replaces them with a proper chip.
