So I’ve put up for sale one of the first banquet facilities the family owned. I was looking for a way to commemorate the memories of so many poker and craps games we all played into the night after certain parties and what better way than with a chip design! The building was luxuriously built in 1915 and a 18K sq foot ballroom added in 1925. The place is in awesome shape for her age. That said please let me know what you think of these designs! Thanks!

I like the black design as a starting point - IMO the font on the red & white has too much of an "old west" feel for something with "Marina" in the name.

But I am curious, assuming it was not actually a hotel & casino, why not use whatever it actually was for the chips? "Marina Shores Banquet Hall & Ballroom" or whatever. Just a thought - I'm just personally not a huge fan of using fake "casino" or "card room" on chips when the real name would suffice.

Hmmmm I guess trying to mix 2 favorite things! lol.. If that make's sense.. I hear the western thing too!

putting the name on chips already mixes 2 favorite things! but i hear you, don't let my personal opinion sway you - it was just an observation because the name might sound cool enough already.

I really like the last one posted. Simple and elegant but very bold. I like the scroll design in the first one too.

agree that you should call it banquet hall etc instead of casino. Seems very commemorative.

Got any photos of the building and ballroom? Any of the signage that was used? They will generally help guide the design process of the place you want to commemorate.
Not a bad idea there. The building is so huge such a small pic may look odd. But I’m going to try that! Same with the 1500 seat ballroom.

agree going to take casino off. Maybe apply “grand ballroom”. That’s what it’s been called over the years. Building was an eagles club so eagles ballroom may work as well.
