After playing at casino again recently, I think I prefer the rounded ends of China clays. Maybe a middle ground like worn out Paulsons would be perfect. The only thing I really don't like is the slickness of China clays. My foldable poker table is not the best but so the slickness makes it slightly noticeable. And any way to change the slickness of China clays? I can change tables that is solid stable, but I have made a separate post about it.

Sounds like you want a casino primary set. There are many sets out there and many are very affordable.

Rock tumbling is for expert use only, wouldn’t recommend unless you’ve had at least 3 years of education at Rock Tumbler University and a couple years experience in the field.

My Majestic China Clay’s have become more tacky over time (after use).
Okay I just got pharaohs, breaking them might do the job. Yeah haven't found a casino set I like yet. What exactly does a rock tumbler do to poker chips?

I think I like the rounders cpc but I heard the edges wear out

The rock tumbler comment is a joke. If I recall correctly, one guy had some mint paulsons that he wanted to use with a set of used paulsons, but he was concerned about mixing chips of different conditions together, so he was looking for ways to artificially wear down his mint chips.
The rock tumbler suggestion is just pure insanity - no poker chips, least of all mint paulsons, should ever be put into a rock tumbler.

Oh.

I thought the title said China Clay *Sickness* and was like, "I know they have an odor, but illness-inducing???"

Nevermind.

I have had very good success...maybe even too good...by rubbing two chips together between your pointer finger and thumb. In other words, pinch 2 chips together (one on top of the other) between you thumb and finger. Then firmly rub them together for like 15-20 seconds. Flip the chips over and repeat. See if that helps reduce slickness. It really improved my China clays so much so that when stacked 20 chips high, someone would have to intentionally knock them over.

Rubbing them together her does the trick. It's scary how tacky they get though. I'm just going to let them naturally break in
